Excellent result, pleased the Rocket are on their way to meet Charlotte. On another note, the Americans commentary pair was absolute garbage. The twin mouths were so apparently homers, everything had to have a positive spin regardless of how the event actually took place. The colour guy was so atrocious he must be on the Rochester payroll, everything was an excuse. Glad to be rid of that clown show, now we can hear the same from the Checker booth. Absolutely love the French goal replays, that's a sweet touch for the hometown fans for sure.

A perfect ending to this series for Laval. Those playoffs are so encouraging for MTL future, first passed the young CBJs, then those young Sabres there and now up against those not-quite-as-young Panthers in Charlotte. It should be quite the physical battle, a good deal more than in this series.
Also Kent Hughes might have some pointers for Pascal Vincent, he must know those checkers fairly well his son played there before being sent down to their ECHL affiliate.

the young guys going in and out of the habs to laval made me want to watch laval, and it's actually some good hockey to watch, though a bit more "press B to check" style of play lol. primeau is on fire there and I'm happy for him.

Buffalo has the best farm system atm ??? In what world ? Not saying Montreal is #1 but SJ, MTL, etc etc are all way ahead of the game when it comes to up and commign prospects. The entire rebuild was based off these farm team players… Buffalo is still in a quazi rebuild / not sure what the identity is phase.
