  1. Fill the Top 6 up with people that can score at least 25-30+ goals a season, if you have room trade some of the assets for a league talent like Pasta or a solid goaltender. It's been the same problems for a long time.

Worry less about the bottom 6, you can find guys that play bottom 6 roll real easy in free agency (why does the team even talk about these guys as much as they do?). What else is there to say? I guess try and contract some of the guys we want to resign if possible.

  2. Boeser and Petterson. Gives us a stand alone goal scorer and a dynamic center two compliment Aho. I know Elias had a down year but so did Brock and that hasn’t been a concern

  3. Yeah but guys like Marner are wizards with the puck. So Jarvy and Svech both get 40 goals. He’s an elite setup man.

  4. Marner doesn't impress me post-season but maybe he could be a stud in Rod's system – and thus post-season. I'd take a good shot at him.

  5. If we want a goal scorer it’ll have to be via trade. Only UFA I’d want is Ehlers but he’s not a goal scorer. I think Marner here would be Necas 2.0. Other guys won’t be worth the term
