Captured a few videos last hockey season but when he was with the Calgary Wranglers AHL team of the Calgary Flames. This time I’ve captured goaltender Dustin Wolf now with the Calgary Flames ahead of the second period at the home opener for the 2024-25 NHL Regular Season against the Philadelphia Flyers.
All goaltender have their own personal routines that after watching a certain goaltender for a while catch on with their routines to start of every game or in this case every period for Dustin Wolf. Few things that highlight with me with Dustin Wolf is the water bottle, crease sweep and of course the jump that he does just before puck drop and it happens just before every period that he plays in.
This is my view of Dustin Wolf from Press Level Section 7 and Row 11 from the Scotiabank Saddledome. My last few shorts that I’ve captured with Dustin Wolf as a Calgary Wrangler got some views of just showing his start of period routine. Need to ask how the whole pattern and routine started with him.
Dustin Wolf has been one of the top prospects for the Calgary Flames and has worked his way up in the hockey ranks from the Everett Silvertips of the WHL to the Stockton Heat/Calgary Wranglers of the AHL and now with the Calgary Flames of the NHL. Dustin Wolf was originally drafted by the Calgary Flames at the 2019 NHL Entry Draft in the seventh round, 214th overall.
