7.5M in Florida is not the same as 7.5M in Toronto. Florida has no state tax. 7.5 in Florida is close to 9-10M in Toronto.

If I were the Leafs Id be willing to go as high as 8.5M per season on Bennett so 7.5*7 sounds like a steal to me.
I think the 7.5M might be the price Florida can get him at, Leafs may need to pay into the 8s, which honestly Im fine with.

Leafs need a real team. Not a bunch of minor league players. Nylander trys to make it look like he is all that, floats around well others do the hard work. Leafs are soft, no grit.
