The Canucks Blueline Is About to Get a Huge Upgrade!

After Rick Tocchet left the Vancouver Canucks, the team appointed Adam Foote as the 22nd head coach in franchise history. Immediately, the question became, who will round out the coaching staff? One name was front and centre from the beginning: Kevin Dean. It is only a matter of time before he is announced as the next assistant coach of the Vancouver Canucks. In this video, I talk about why Canucks fans should be excited about this potential hire!

  1. Really appreciate the breakdown. Very informative. Hey, remember when you were hoping for 5k subs? Glad you've gotten some traction. You're doing good work, and I hope you can expand and produce even more great content.

You're becoming a Vancouver fan go-to channel. Deservedly so.

    Thanks again.

  2. I'm excited to see what Dean can do with the d in Vancouver. Great channel! I enjoy your voice, presentation and great commentary. Very well done!

  3. Love your videos man keep it up. Id say on paper it’s really good hiring hope it works out and I am anxious for who we hire as an offensive coach

  4. I love this ! We have a crop of absolutely amazing young dmen! Defence wins games that’s where the plays start so having this upgrade on the bench is awsome ! Can we just move past this bad juju

  5. It's not officially announced, so I don't understand why Dean's name is popping up everywhere as the next staff member to join the Canucks. Where's the evidence for this claim?

  6. Canucks need a power play specialist. Canucks offensive the last year and a half was dump the puck in and go for a line change. Tocchet didn’t know what he was doing. He is good at fixing games for his greasy gambling problems.

  7. Another great video. You’re giving me a lot of hope when everyone else is so negative about everything.

  8. Hopefully he's good at attracting players – you need that too? Sounds like he's a benefit in every way they'd need. Let's see what happens.

  9. I thought the Rutherford regime would be an upgrade on the Benning yrs. I was wrong. Yes Rutherford/Alvin are more experienced but they, like Benning are about the now not the future. They better have a plan this year or we'll be having this same conversation in 4 yrs. Am I being Pessimist?
Yes. But what hope do I have as a Canucks fan (circa 1982). None.
