I don't get why more isn't made of Rutherford being a very poor strategic comms person. 1) Hughes and 2) comments to MacIntyre about Miller magnifies and validates team issues. Hughes is going to spend the next 2 seasons answer ing questions about playing with his brother. Rutherford is not for this moment
Yeah Don lets trade the greatest d man in franchise history and the best defenseman in the league for two mid first round picks and a mediocre top 6 forward
Pettersson was always a 9-9.5 mill player .. I wish we would’ve waited until after the playoffs last year .. I bet he would’ve taken 9.5 after his no show against the oilers
The pieces around Hughes aren’t good enough to elevate this team or to receive a sufficient return to elevate this team. Get something for him now and rebuild or lose him for nothing and spend another decade being a joke.
