Bruins Trade Talks INTENSIFYING… This Will Define EVERYTHING | Boston Bruins News

Bruins trade talks are intensifying as recent reports have revealed that the Bruins are in on a very interesting young center who is nearly guaranteed to be traded as well as recent reports coming out about the Bruins looking at Jonathan Taves. We’re going to be breaking all these reports down here in this video going over the best fit for the Boston Bruins here in this video. Very quickly before we do jump into this video, be sure to hit the sub button if you haven’t already. We’re waiting on our coaching hire which is supposed to come this week and we’ll have it first here for you. We also know that 62% of you guys watching right now are not subscribed to the channel. But let’s get straight into this. Let’s get underway with our news today. Starting here first of all looking at the lines. I want to go over this because we know that the sensor depth is something that is a bit interesting with the Boston Bruins. We have some very good center. Elias Lindholm, Paw Zaka recently acquired Frasier Mitten, Matt Pocher. A lot of opportunities here for the Bruins to alter this center group. However, we’re still missing that second line solid winger where we may see Zaka move up, Lindol move up. You know, there’s lots of opportunities. So, when it comes down to it, there is a lot of interesting stuff. And we have this to break over break down right here from David Pagnata. Several teams are believed to have varying degrees of interest in Marco Rossi, including the Calgary Flames, Buffalo Sabres, Vancouver Conucks, Montreal Canadians, the Boston Bruins, and the New York Rangers. Now, this year, Marco Rossi had a phenomenal year, 82 games, 60 points, and we saw his disgruntlement in the playoffs when he got fourth line minutes with the Bruins, uh, sorry, with the Wilds. And they really didn’t give him much of an opportunity there in the playoffs after looking at these full season, 82 games, first and second line minutes for a majority of the season, and then feeling a bit left out when it came down to these playoffs. So, reports are also indicating trade, a trade is bound to happen. The trade seemingly is ready to go, ready to happen now. It’s just a matter of time until the Wild get it done. They don’t want to offer him the contract that everybody is kind of waiting for. And this is why there are so many teams in on him. Now, the Boston Bruins are an interesting one. There’s they’re a team who have really snuck in recently. They’ve been looking to add to this sensor depth, as I’ve mentioned, to an elite level rather than just kind of getting some depth that can play the middle six, the bottom six. And Marco Ross is your guy for them. you know, it’s only one season so far and 82 points uh 82 games with 60 points is something that is on a good pace. However, when we’re looking at this, we don’t know if that will continue. Now, when we go and look at his um his uh you know contract projections right now, looking at the 7-year 7.3 compared to the 2×4, the 7 by7 is something that I I think we have no choice of seeing for Marco Rosie. It doesn’t seem like there’s going to be a bridge deal. So, when we’re looking at a deal like this, it kind of fits the Boston Bruins scheme. However, it is very tough to be able to project this, you know, when it comes down to the playing style. Yes, on paper, this looks like phenomenal deal and also it will work out very well. But the trust that we’ve seen from Don Sweeney and fans, it’s been decreasing. And when it comes down to it, you know, it’s going to be a pretty big deal for Marco Rossi while also being a very big impact on his role with the team with the Bruins. cuz you know when we go here he still has that first line provincial but right now Eliza Lome is seemingly taking over that role and if you go to an Eliz deal give that to Marco Rossi as well. Marco Rossi comes out here next season doesn’t keep up the pace he was on for this year things could be in a serious serious issue for the Bruins if that contract style those contract lengths terms uh don’t don’t work out for the Bruins. So, it is a very interesting look here when it does come down to it. And I want to know what you guys think here in the comments below about Marco Rossi as a possible option for a trade with the Boston Bruins because we know it also wouldn’t be a cheap trade. There are reports are coming out they want someone that can help out that wild team right now and some picks and rightfully so for a guy like Marco Rossi. So, it will be a very interesting look to see first of all what the Bruins will offer, would be willing to offer and what they would have to be able to do to go and get that extension done as well. Now, with everything we know about Marco Rossi as well, we do have another quote here from Michael D. Rosa saying, “Hearing that the Boston Bruins have reportedly have interest on Rossi and they’re on their radar is not particularly surprising. They need help down the middle in the 2020 ninth overall pick would provide them with just that. In addition, he would leave a potential to offer them a long-term solution in their top six as he is only 23 years old and still has more time to develop his game even further. Now, something like this, I think, will have a major impact depending on this Bruins coaching search. If we got a guy like Marco Sturm, as we’ve been talking about, a very good coach to develop younger players, we see a guy like Marco Rossi, super young, super talented, and still needs that level development. It makes a lot more sense to be able to go out here and look at this contract as something that will very much play out and will be a major impact in the top six, not starting a couple years time, starting right now. So I I think there is that kind of leading candidate there in Marco Rossi. But still I think it’s a something we really have to think about before saying absolutely we go and do this. So I want to know what your input is in the comments below. What do you think about this deal and how would you find a fit for Marco Rossi in this top six? Now we do have a lot more kind of options as well when it comes down to a new recent addition that a lot of people are recently talking about is a guy by the name of Jonathan Taves. He’s making his return to the NHL. is trying to and I’ve seen some comments wanting to know what the thoughts are on Jonathan Taves on a Boston Bruins team. Looking at Jonathan Taves, of course, the last year he played was 22-23. Going into that team, uh 53 games, 31 points. Of course, I believe that was one of the shortened years. He did not play a full season after that. had some issues with um an illness and came down and didn’t play for a little while, but now he says he’s feeling ready to make an NHL comeback per his agent, which is a very interesting look when it comes down to it because a lot of people are thinking that his tenure with the Chicago Blackhawks is up, giving him any opportunity to sign in the NHL as he is going to be UFA jumped up to number eight on the chart for ESPN and a free agents. I believe it is around that range. So, it is a very interesting decision to kind of go out here and uh make something like this happen because Jonathan Taes is already a legend, a Hall of Famer, and although he may not be the exact player the Bruins are looking for in terms of play style, in terms of age, in terms of skill anymore, he will have a major impact on any team that he joins, including the Boston Bruins. Now, once again, going back to it and taking a look at the lines right here, there is some very few spots that Jonathan Taves would fit at this point in his career. Yes, still a very good player, still will be able to play. How long would it be the contract? We’re going to jump into that here in a moment. But when you look at what the Bruins need is, it is a top center and Jonathan Tace is not that anymore. He would have a big impact on a bottom six, but we have so many centers right now that can play the bottom six at what will likely be a much cheaper price than Jonathan Taves because when you go off of his last year and as I mentioned, kind of going off these stats, he still earns himself a pretty good contract. and even then 31 points in 53 games at the age then I believe he was 35 34 35 then still bit older player in the NHL but putting up great points and there’s a lot of uncertainty surrounding how he would come back how the level of play would come back but when you’re going looking at the contract that is being offered or being projected by AFP it’s a one-year $2 million deal for a 37year-old center who has not played in nearly 3 years I think that is a bit too much of a risk for the Boston Bruins at this point, first of all, and second of all, it really doesn’t fit the exact scheme that the Bruins are looking for when it comes down to the center position. They want that top six center. I think Marco Rossi is probably the closest they can get to that by a younger player who will be will be traded. I think we can certainly say at this point and at a pretty good deal when we look at it in terms of comparisons and how this cap is going up. So right now, Jonathan Taz, I don’t think is the option we want to, especially at one year or 2 million. If it were a league minimum or a veteran minimum, absolutely you could throw him in there. But right now, I I think it’s the odds are closer to Marco Rosi than anybody else. Of course, we’re going to see a lot more options here across the NHL from players that, you know, may not even be in the realm of consideration for a trade at this moment. But when we know we get down to the draft, things change pretty quick. And also, we’re going to see some more things happen with Marco Rossi. more reports of free agency stuff heat up and especially the draft where the Bruins are looking for a center as well. So, let me know what you think about all these players here in the comments below. I’m very curious to see your opinion and which of the group you would like to see and we’re going to have more reports coming about this and we’re expecting a coaching decision here in the coming days, if not hours. The Boston Bruins having recently been linked to multiple centres, however, two very different styles of player. Marco Rossi is nearly guarantee to be traded from the Minnesota Wild and is a perfect trade opportunity for the Bruins to have their centre of the future. Jonathan Toews fits the bill for the ideal veteran centre yet may not have a spot on the Bruins roster.

  1. I'm not convinced Rossi is an NHL center and there's a lot of rumors that he's looking for a lot of money. You have a guy who certainly is a center in Mason McTavish that I think would also ask a lot less money. If the ducks can't move on from Zegras I think he might be on the block. Supposedly a lot of guys are unhappy with how things ended in Dallas and Robertson supposedly isn't talking with them about extending. So they are probably going to be looking to move him. Those are two guys who I think are way more interesting.

  2. This team looks worse then the sabers. Lauko on a second.line and beecher on a 3rd line. These are players that wouldn't even be on a playoff nhl team
