Levan Saginashvili vs Ermes Gasparini
I think that Levan is going to win. But nowadays the only person who has put in serious trouble Levan was Ermes. So still Levan, but Ermes is getting there. It’s tricky because if we guide ourselves by the last match that they both had, and seeing that they both have been improving, it’s like the first one could be a very difficult round, and the rest we’ll see. If they’ve both improved, I think it’s going to be very similar to the match they had before.
Devon Larratt vs Alex Kurdecha
I think Devon wins. Devon is a little unpredictable. When Devon sees that he’s sure to beat him, he’ll play with him, because that’s what Devon likes to do with his opponents, like demoralizing, humiliating. That’s how I see it, and I don’t see any chance that Alex is winning.
Alex Kurdecha vs Artyom Morozov
I think Artyom Morozov wins.
Michael Todd vs Georgi Dzeranov
Michael Todd is a warrior, but I think Georgi Dzeranov is going to win. And I’m saying this even though Michael is my friend, but really Georgi is very strong. It’s going to be like a war, especially in endurance. Either Dzeranov presses him or he goes on the top. If they attack Michael from the top, it can be a problem for him, because Michael generally can’t reach high. That was evident in the supermatch against Vitaly Laletin. Since Laletin has a very long arm, Michael couldn’t get above it. In Ermes’ case, it’s due to back pressure — the flexor gives out and the height of his arm drops.
Wagner Bortolato vs Manuel Battaglia
Bortolato is a very tough opponent, but I don’t know how he is right now. Battaglia is currently in his prime. I would say Battaglia wins, but if Bortolato does press him, the match is his. Even if Manuel takes Bortolato’s wrist, Bortolato can still apply his press.
Irakli Zirakashvili vs Matt Mask
I think Irakli Zirakashvili will win this match.
Joseph Meranto vs Ivan Portela
I’ve been competing like 32 years. Right now, obviously, I am not as good as I used to be, but I am still training and I am not unprepared at all. I saw Joseph pulling in a super match actually. And obviously, after finding out that I was going to face him in a super match, that’s when I really started to look into his social media profile and try to dive in. Rather than only about him, but in general talking about the younger generations, they are all coming strong. Joseph is obviously very strong. He looked like now is his moment. But experience is a huge grade, and that counts. For me, it’s good that my opponent is a hook puller. It’s always going to be a good war.
Now I weight 68 or 69 kilos. At WAF, I’ve won in the 55, 57, 60, and 63-kilo categories in the senior division, and later in the 70-kilo category in the masters division. About my chances of winning, I haven’t tried Joseph out. I don’t know really what Meranto is, and I am the kind of person that until I don’t get into the table, I don’t know much about it. In regards of no surprises, cheating surprises, if we go in top roll, that is cheating. Going outside, it’s going to be foul [He was kidding at the end].
Fia Reisek vs Elin Janeheim
I know Fia Reisek, but unfortunately I don’t know Elin Janeheim, so I can’t predict this match.
