Well, it is game two for the Rochester Americans in this North Division semi-final matchup against the Syracuse Crunch alongside Griffin Delpena. I’m Andrew Mossbrooks and Griff. You know, the excitement around this team entering the playoffs was all the returnees from the Buffalo Sabres, but it was really the depth players that stood up to get the Emirates a win in game one. Yeah, Michael Leone said postgame that the success for this team at multiple points of the year has actually been the bottom six, and that’s what happened in game one. Goals from Brennan Warren as well as Riley Fiddler Schultz on the play being down two to zero really flipped momentum back in Rochester’s fashion. Best of five series which means it takes three to win. Well, there’s a magic number in threes and that is determined by goals on the board as said by Kale Kle. Yeah, Kell Kle mentioned that postgame as well. He had the third goal here tonight in the third period. That was the game winner and that’s been so pivotal against Syracuse in all of their meetings in the regular season and in the postseason last year that that’s what you need against this Syracuse team with so many games being so low scoring. Ammers rallied down two nothing. They had allowed two goals in the first four minutes of the second period. Deon Levi Griffin probably wanted one, maybe both of those back, but he certainly uh stood tall the rest of the way. Yeah, he responded well after allowing those two goals in the first four minutes of the second period. Didn’t allow another. And there were some really good crunch chances late and he made sure that Rochester came out with a win here in game one. Game two set for a 305 start time right here at Blue Cross Arena.
