They swept the White Sox who cares. A little league team could probably sweep the White Sox. I came on at the beginning of the season bitching about all the bad management stupid decisions and that this team would finish probably 20 games below 500 and everybody gave me a hard time. Thought that I was insane. Oh I love sweet vindication. I hate that we suck. And I don't know how I was the only one that saw this coming. Everybody defended them and their decisions especially Connor. Well Connor it looks like you were wrong again. I was right. You can apologize whenever you want. Don't have to be a rocket scientist to understand with a bunch of number four and five starters you're not going anywhere. I called it a month before the season started. See y'all next year
this content is the best among the Orioles Magic chattering class — been checking in for a a couple seasons now. I enjoy this year’s postcasts with Luke. Thank you, Connor. You are thorough and professorial. Some of these other dudes just rambling. This is great curated content and I appreciate it, fellas. Chris Hoiles 4 life.
Building some momentum! haha
Don’t trade Mayo or other players
But I’m happy 😊 we swept the White Sox
Hey, we have 2, 3 game win streaks lately. At least were looking on the positive side.
Absolutely love that Mansolino is willing to give our starters a longer leash. Should definitely help the pen’s workload, if nothing else. Also love the recent sacrifice bunts and the double steal w/ runners on 1st n 3rd last week. Didn’t seem to do any of that stuff w/ Hyde.
Still frustrated by the lineup, tho. Adley has been right at a .200 hitter going back thru like last July. Can someone please enlighten me on why we would continue to bat him 2nd in the lineup every game??? Bc it makes absolutely zero sense, to me.
The hamstring thing is crazy, 4th Oriole with a pulled hamstring. Urias, West, Mullins, Mounty. I feel like I'm missing one too. Then we had Gunnar with the inner costal, lat and rotator cuff strains abound as well. Muscles strain because they're weaker than the demand being put on them. So, what in the hell is the strength and conditioning staff doing right now? Everyone wants to talk about who comes out of the bullpen, but why the hell are we pulling hamstrings? Why do these professional athletes, making millions of dollars, have weak hamstrings?
7-4 in our last 11 games is pretty solid, but the opposition hasn’t been great. Hopefully we can build on this decent run against Seattle and Sacramento out west.
The current brand of Oriole baseball is at least watchable.
Never watched Kjerstad in college but did he look this unathletic then too? He runs like he's a newborn deer. Can't play him in the outfield unless he's hitting like O'Hearn.
Thanks, Connor. My one comment here is let O’Neill go and please keep Carlson!!!!
This team needs to stop always trying for the long ball when runners are on second and third. The amount of times I’ve seen fly outs or hard swings with RISP suggests they’re trying to hit home runs in those situations
