‘The Oilers are a better puck moving team’: Rishaug on Stanley Cup rematch

TSN Oilers reporter Ryan Rishaug and TSN Hockey analyst Martin Biron join SC with Jay Onrait to discuss if Edmonton looks more relaxed heading into the Stanley Cup Final this year compared to last, if they sense a different approach from the Oilers, and which goalie has the edge in the big rematch.

  1. Oilers in 6 ! also get rid of the orange my god oil is not orange! Biron needs to stop getting interviewed he has no hockey sense

  2. It wasn't like the Panthers that added a couple huge pieces at the deadline? WTF. Ever checked out what Jake Walman is doing this year?

  3. I don't know who the member of the Oilers coaching staff was who saw what he saw in Walman and klingberg. But man, those two flipped the script on the Oilers D Corps.

  4. Someone doesn't understand the Cats methods. IT IS NOT about moving the puck…its about who can stop the "puck movement". The Cats are built to choke puck movement…Oilers not so much.

  5. Holloway and Broberg will regret signing with the Blues. The Oilers have the experience to take the cup this year.

  6. All TSN analysts better predict the Panthers to win the series. We all know their track record in predictions

  7. The best part of this is there is more pressure on mcdavid and oilers to win, than for the panthers to repeat. Which usually the repeat team has the most pressure. Panthers win this series and the Canadian media outrage will flow due to there own doing once again.

  8. Smooth job climbing out of that cupboard by Connor Brown, too. Pro athletes do everything better than normal people.

  9. Draisaitl was in rough shape with injuries this time last year, they took it to 7 without him being much of a factor the Big German will be buzzing this time

  10. Mcdavid and team have a tough time ahead. I predict the oilers to have some side lining injuries by game 3 which will derail the two- man offense the oilers so deeply depend on. Panther have production all the way through. Skinner will again allow soft goals and be pulled several times. Maybe I am right or wrong, we'll see. Go Sharks!

  11. FL has dominated Edmonton this year in the regular season. Going 2-0
And 10-3 overall including the playoffs, since January of 2023.

    The facts speak for themselves.
    FL in 6.
No sweeps , no gentleman sweeps, but is going to be a great series
Also FL has scored 66 goals in 17 playoff games v 59 goals in 16 games for Edmonton
Edmonton has also allowed 8 more goals in 16 games than FL in 17 .

I don’t see where Edmonton separates itself from FL .
Idk if Edmonton makes it if it wasn’t for Pickard
