This is a terrible take. Nobody gets EK65 to tell him to defend and keep shots to the outside. You get him to initiate breakouts, to run your PP1, and to tilt the ice in your favour. He's not Chris Tanev, so don't play him like Chris Tanev.
He's not the old "I'm going to beat the Bruins by myself" EK65 anymore, but he's still a really, really good player when deployed correctly. Go look at how the Oilers have used Klingberg in the last two months, then realize that the current EK is probably about as good as peak Klingberg and you'll have an idea of how effective EK can be when used correctly.

That’s low key what Toronto needs 😂😂 they’re a contender with Karlson
Make him a forward😅
Karlsson doesn't seem like a Team player. I agree until he's willing to sacrifice some offense for defense then he's not willing to trade for.
Karlsson has always been good in the playoffs – he just hasn’t been there often.
He would be a perfect fit in Dallas
Thats bouchard in a way. But the difference is Bouchard, somehow, becomes a beast in the playoffs
Jaccob Slavin could cover his mistakes
Frank is right. Dubas wouldn't take Reilly makes no sense and Rielly isn't waiving for Pens.
Rielly for Karlsson at &m is good. Play him on the wing 5on5 and he can run the PP lol
