Sounds like the kinda guy who hates losing more than he likes winning. I can see how someone like that could struggle with teammates he perceives as showing a lack of compete
Pick an acronym that had anything to do with extreme behaviour swings and I bet J T Miller has got one. Like OCD and ADHD. Maybe throw in some bipolar disorder.
He's a blamer, he can't take accountability. And that's why he becomes a problem in the locker room everywhere he goes, other players don't like that. It wasn't even 2 years ago he had an entire segment on HNIC where they blasted him for zero effort shifts and yelling at his teammates.
There are good leaders and bad leaders. Bad leaders only know how to bark. Good leaders know how to motivate each person individually, regardless if it is army, sport or at work.
Canucks win the JT trade by a mile! All hail Alvin. We get a top four d man locked up in MP3 who has been outstanding so far; a huge surprise in Chytil who looks every part a legit C2; and as bonus a speedy, super scrappy Drew O’Connor who fits Tocchet hockey perfectly. And as icing on top Victor Mancini is a hulking, mobile, right handed defence-man who will add great depth as he matures. I won’t miss Miller and his saltiness one bit.
Here we are Canucks are playing amazing hockey… All auditions have totally revamped this team. They’ve stepped it up a few notches and Hughes has been out for the last four games… in that stretch we are 3-0-1
U half to be able to control yourself tho… ur a professional making millions per year. It's to the detriment of his team to a point. We can all work on these skills.
Professional sports is full of people with ADHD. The classic athlete that is liked by people but flies off the handle at times. Usually everything will be good for about 7 months and then their boredom and masking starts to wear off.
I said it before and I'll say it again. JT was a great signing, they picked the right guy over Horvat, and then fucked it up trading him instead of that over paid baby swede. When you have a warrior who cares that much, you embrace that and make everyone else man the fuck up! The soft ones like the swede baby, you get rid of.
I see nothing wrong with this passion and drive. Who hasn’t seen Michael Jordan or Tom Brady get fired up on the bench or at their teammates? This mentality is needed to be great.
Only in Charmin-soft Vancouver would a player like Miller with his mentality be considered an issue to be addressed. No wonder they named Hughes captain. Says a lot about that market and organisation.
And yet he would constantly make lazy, careless plays that gets his team trapped and then sulk all the way back to the bench while everyone else is hightailing back to the D zone to cover his mistake.

Bruce has been balanced and fair his whole career, no exception here…
As a life long canucks fan, I would take jt miller over 3 pettersons any day of the week.

So basically he’s a baby.
An underdeveloped adult.
Don’t make excuses for that, it’s unacceptable.
We’re trying to EVOLVE as a civilization man.
Going to be very tough for Nux to replace a gritty 100 point leader…sad ending for him /Nux fans!

I think we need someone who brings the room together, in a positive way, might be Marcuss Pettersson but idk

I'm the same.

Jt is a child who got his way to many times
Only Vancouver could trade a guy for caring too much 😂
Basically saying he hasn't matured.

Like a toddler
Trading JT and keeping Petey is one of the Canucks biggest blunders ever.
Canuck fan here. Really miss Bruce and JT.
Now the pressure is on Princess Peterson and he's gonna fold like a cheap tent.
Canucks fan, keep on rocking JT. WE all loved ya.
JT Mill-er! JT Mill-er! JT Mill-er! 🗣️🏒👍

JT Miller ! JT Miller! A true warrior on the ice.
I used to act like JT Miller. Then I failed grade three…
