The Edmonton Oilers have spent a playoffs erasing every possible doubt any hockey fan could possibly have about the team. Now, just days away from the Stanley Cup Finals, there’s only one thing left to do: Admit I was wrong.

I knew they would be back to the Stanley Cup. Even Brian Burke said this oilers team is better than last year. Go Oilers!!!๐
Always hate intros
how come you don't do live oilers games anymore I rather enjoyed that.
Your only mistake is caring what happens in the first half of the season. ๐
This guys is always wrong about the oilers ๐ how is he still allowed to speak on the oilers. Take those jerseys down bahd

I picked oilers over leafs hopping Tampa would take our Florida..lol I never once thought the oilers wouldn't win it all…
I don't know where the doubt comes from, since the first two games against LA where Skinner obviously got the playoff-stun returning from injury, the Oilers through the next two-and-half rounds played approximately 15 minutes of bad-enough-hockey to lose; in a sense they were next to sweep or have had the opportunity to sweep the opponents otherwise.

I watch you for insightful analysis and you always provide that. If I want predictions I will go see a psychic. Entering the playoffs this team had huge question marks. I had my own doubts. I am thrilled for their performance and where they are at. Let's go finish it now. You keep doing the excellent work on your channel. I don't need you for emotional support, I need you for your your knowledge and analysis.
Glad you finally see the light.
It was definitely hard to be high on them given their uninspired play after 4 Nations, along with the injuries, and along with how good the Kings were looking, and even Vegas beyond them. But something inside me told me the team ONLY had their eyes on making the playoffs, and ultimately winning the Cup. I was way less passionate about the regular season this year for the same reasons tbh. Once you come within inches of the prize, it's all you actually want.
One interesting thing is that Florida has been, relatively speaking, quite pedestrian at home so far these playoffs. They're dominant on the road, but at home they are 4-3 and don't even have a positive goal differential. Meanwhile Edmonton has been utterly dominant at home and pretty good on the road.
Oil is six like this. Split first two with first to Fla then next 2oil then Fla then oil. 2ot 2 blowouts one a 2 or 3 goal game ad the other last two minutes win
Lol let's go insane on Tyson's glasses.get contacts…. Lol or at least get Hanson frames lol nerd ๐ค
Caution; do not thats NOT! give Fla. a 3 to nothing start… just saying !
You're not wrong, I thought going with so many "grizzled vets" would hurt us. Especially after how the season ended and playoffs started. I did not believe lol they're so hungry. You were just thinking what the majority of fans were thinking. We were both wrong, at least you're being real.
I don't see Florida being better
You don't have those jerseys on wall with tacks do you ๐ฎ i sure hope not
You are a moron. Close your channel. You gave skinner a hard time all season long. Clearly you donโt know sports and are just a kid still living with his mom.
Go away. Dum dum
lol u were wrong last year too.
lol u were wrong last year too.
Oilers in 6. Doing it for Hyman and each other.
I had some doubts about the team too. They had a bad start to the season and a bad end to the season. They went into the playoffs with a bunch of injuries. I was not expecting them to make it to the finals but I am happy that they did!
Hey Tyson, I'm sorry for the criticism buddy. I watch your videos. I respect your view. I was just passionate about the Oilers in the beginning of the playoffs. At the end of the day. The Oilers are in Stanley Cup final.. don't take the comic to heart. Hockey fans are emotional
This must be turning up on my feed bc I follow Oilers. Recommend not seeing this channel.
Oilers will always be my team, since they joined the NHL from the WHA. We are now down to a gritty final again. I expect the team will all follow McD"s determination to get the cup. Remember, back in the 80's, many support players became heroes after they won the cup. They were all good but the cup solidified their status in the NHL and this year kinda reminds me of the same type of thing. We have a great core group but a better support group that needs to give their all, just like the oilers of the 80's. Go Oilers Go.

This has been the most emotional season. How could an objective hockey fan not want to have revised their Cup prediction given the outrageous injuries and steady influx of players often somewhat unfamiliar–and always unfamiliar in playing with each other? For most of March and April I thought Trent Frederic as an Oiler was like Bigfoot or something–ones of those things that has to have some reality to it–reasonable people claim to have seen it once or twice–but how is that going to be enough to bolster the Oiler's backline D this year? The timely and energetic return of Evander Kane actually turning out to be both of those things, timely and energetic-…almost while he's meeting guys like Frederic and Walman for the first time….even Draistl and McDavid both missed real time on the lead up with injuries, so snake-bit did it seem to be getting. An objective hockey fan HAD to wonder…was it all just too much? Then they drop the first two to LA…
But since? Since: I have dreamt and waited years to see the Oilers be playing this way at this time of the year. Yes–Florida is better than last year. But so are the Oilers. And this series is a dream come true. No–the Oilers are not just on a hot streak. They are getting healthy and cohesive and on-time for real finally, and–hell yes–they are actually capable of being one game better this year than they were last year–even with Florida losing nothing. But an objective hockey fan in Florida has to admit that much at least. The Oilers can win the Stanley Cup this year! It's not just something I'm telling myself after another dark hockey night Febuary. Wow, am I tingling! Here we go into hockey glory!!!
A guy I work with said after the first game in LA that they would lose. After game 2, he said it would be a sweep.
I admitted that it didn't look good, but I told him the Oilers could still turn it around.
Now he's predicting that they win the cup.
Just get us four more wins before the season ends…
Edmonton has a score to settle!
