  1. It’s one thing if you break your foot during the jump over Normandy. In that case, the only way out is forwards, at any and every cost. But this isn’t that. This is a game. Don’t let people with broken bones keep playing. Emphasis on the word “playing.”

  2. McDavid covers more distance to get to the puck before hintz. So. Meh. I’m going to have TJ see Hitntz foot X-ray to believe he broke his foot. I bet it’s just a bruise. What a 🐱

  4. It helps that your foot is mostly immobilized in the skate, unlike other sports with more flexible footwear. He probably got his foot real snug and stiff in there so it's mostly the ankles getting the pressure along with the fact a hockey stride is out and diagonal and on the inside edge instead of straight on where you'd feel the impact throughout the foot. But it's probably whatever industrial grade painkillers professional teams have access to that kept him going for the most part.

  5. You not knowing the difference between a "fracture" and a "broken bone" is hilarious, lol I worked days without realizing I "fractured" my toe I guess that makes me a superstar bahahahahaha

  6. Fractures can be minor or severe. A 'hairline' or 'linear' fracture isn't actually a broken bone, but just a crack. It's literally the only kind of fracture you could likely actually play with if it affected your foot, and skate at McDavid level speeds, and not jeopardize your career. Until I see a foot x-ray you can't trust 'reporters'

  7. If that had happened to sn oiler er wouldnt ever hear the end of it. Just like connor brown or hyman getting hit with ACTUAL hits. Oilers fans say the slashes are just "hockey plays" but aren't adult enough to call the stuff AGAINST their team "hockey plays."

  8. Just saying a broken foot is a lot harder then dealing any upper body injury, dice you just put foot in a cast (skate) plenty of players have broken feet in playoff, really doesn’t affect much

  9. My favorite "i was playing hurt" story is Matthew Tkachuk playing the last game of the 2023 SCF with a broken sternum, like….jesus

  10. Anyone who believes that guy has a broken foot, I have a bridge to sell you. There’s no way he’s skating on a broken foot. I’m sorry. No. No. No. His agent wouldn’t allow it. A broken foot AND almost catching up to the fastest hockey player on the planet? Come on.

  11. bro your videos are fun, and I enjoy them – but they're exactly that: videos; please stop with the freeze-frames

  12. Roope understood what sacrifice meant despite playing injured. It's a shame that some of the other Dallas forwards did not catch on

  13. it's not what they are playing through that makes the big picture so wild to me, it's this level of guys are trying harder than they've ever tried in their life. the intensity and focus must be an out of body experience to some degree in these huge playoff games.

  14. No one has a problem talking about injured they are other than Auston Matthews. Either cause he isn't at all and likes the excuse or is so chronic it will never go away

  15. Clearly his foot was good enough for him to play out there. Otherwise he should have just let someone else in and maybe they would have caught up with Connor(LOL).

My point is, it's not impressive for an injured guy to boost that he played with a broken foot, that should have been a sign for him to let someone else play. It's a team sport for a reason, this isn't tennis.
