im sorry but saying the reason they haven't won till now is because they've never been ahead in score might be the understatement of the decade. what would we do without these in-depth analysis LMAO… that was too funny great vid tho
As a Canes fan, the three most memorable coaches in our history: Maurice, Laviolette, and Brind’Amour. Maurice is such a genius of a coach (he almost got the Canes to a cup win in 2003) we know he will have countermeasures in place for game 5. Laviolette got Carolina the cup. And now Rod hopefully can do it—if not this year, maybe next. Interesting side note: Carolina and Dallas both are facing 3-1 holes to climb out of. Both had home ice advantage.
They did a great job in this game of minimizing plays, where a single error leads to a goal…Leafs did this to perfection in game 6, and then changed their plan for game 7 at home for some reason. Once Florida gets a lead you’re f-ed cause you’re chasing the game and making errors doing it. Will be interesting to see in the Canes can replicate this
6:10 Jaccob Slavin used to be a goalie in juniors, which is part of the reason why he’s so good at defending — he knows how to maximize the assistance he gives to his goalie, and knows to give reliable coverage so the goalie knows what’s covered and what isn’t.
Gentleman's sweep complete. Hate to say I told you so…. but I know this cats team better than any of these leaf fan's in the comments. Carolina played a great 1st. Got another lucky goal off a terrible turnover during a change. Backed it up with another goal. But their confidence is only slightly better than the leafs. Their sticks were incredibly active, forwards were backchecking hard and laying out to break up plays. Panthers score 2 goals in 30 seconds to tie the game up, and all that great confident defensive play by the canes went right out the window. All of a sudden the ice opened up, panthers players were able to break away from their man and get opportunities in the middle of the ice/slot. And the game was over
Even when Caronlina tied it up with a nice goal off a good bounce, I texted my dad this: Kind of feels like the Panthers MO. They love to let a team/fans have a bit of hope…. just to crush it late in the game. I feel like some of the players on Florida's bench are complete psychopaths who thrive in destroying dreams. The crowd came back to life, and Florida relished the opportunity to pull the souls out of 18 thousand fans and 20 players. Barkov reminded everyone why he's the greatest player in the world (not mcdavid you canadian cucks) and Bennett called game with the empty netter.
It's sick really… look at all the hearts the panthers have ripped out since Tkachuk joined their squad.
Bruins 2023: up 3 games to 1… winning game 7 with less than a minute in the third Toronto 2023: Finally got past round 1 and beat a contender to do it. "We want Florida….." lol
Rangers 2024: Presidents trophy winning rangers who are cup bound… lose 2 of the first 3 games…. beat them down in 6 games so bad they tear the team apart the following season Oilers 2024: They let them back into the series just to dominate game 7 without nerves that any other team should be feeling after dropping 3 straight… absolute clinic
Toronto 2025: drop the first 2 games to give leafs fan's tons of hope. win 3 straight. Lose game 6 because wouldn't it be better to tear leafs fan's hearts out in another game 7?
I mean they thrive off of this shit. I half expected them to let the canes win tonight just to drum up more suspense

Just happy we didn't get swept 😂

I want them to win
Bob the builder. 😂 Love your videos man
Florida just played like they weren’t interested that’s really how the Canes did it.
Edmonton is already studying this game.
Gets me to see the game 3 or 4 layers deeper than the first time around.
Love this channel.
Thumbs up for the focus on Slavin
He’s not only effective, he’s effective without taking penalties
Way more insight from this video than all of TNT’s coverage combined.
What’s the answer for the Panthers if Canes keep playing stretch passes and high flips?

There needs to be an award for best defensive defenseman. I'd call it the Rod Langway Trophy but open to other ideas!
It's not over yet , let's go canes
Holy shit that's a sick thumbnail, I had no clue it was you though 😂😂😂
Lets see. Take out Sam R. Mikkola and Greer were out. LOL and they STILL struggled for that one goal.
The Carolina Whalers are back baby!!
Insert Reino, Mikkola, Greer. VAMOS GATOS!
Please win tonight Carolina. I believe in you!
i have a better explanation: they were desperate and florida wanted to rest
Carolina is basically the NJ Devils of the late 90s… incredibly boring and bad for hockey.

I’m not huge on the news report small part just letting you know I love your video style otherwise
So you’re making a video on how Florida came back and shut down Carolina in game 5, right?
Can we get a video on how the panthers bodied them for three straight games?
I’m
