  1. Def dont love Mack flying the zone but Manson can't engage in the corner. I think it would have been hard for him to not see Mack leaving and thus he has no help. Let the guy come out of the corner if you have to and wait for help.

  2. Avs aren't vampires, they don't need permission to force entry into Dallas home for game 7. Sassmate just goes there. Whadyatalkinabeet?

  3. Really good breakdown, with a healthy pinch of humor!

    Buckle up Avs Faithful!
    We got this.

    I believe!

  4. Lost opportunity last night for the Stars. Dallas got outplayed all night but hung tight and capitalized on chances. Still shaking my head on the GWG as a Dallas fan. Avs have been the better team most of this series but Dallas has a way in game 7s. Should be fun.

  5. Feels like Dallas always capitalizes on their chances… almost absurd how they are much better than the avs on that front.

  6. I said it from day 1 and I will say it now, Avs should never have traded Rantanen. I said just give him his $12 mil per. He would have gladly accepted that AND it's still less than MacKinnon's. The reason why is because 1+1=3. That's right. MacKinnon is made by Rantanen and Rantanen is made by MacKinnon. They both make each other 2X better. Without each other, they both diminish and that's why MacKinnon eventually loss the Art Ross cuz he wasn't getting enough points without Rants and Rants on his own in Carolina and Dallas scored less as well because he didn't have Nate. They were made for each other. Perfect fit and you don't just break that chemistry up because that only comes once in a generation. That's why there's nobody that matches with MacKinnon well right now…not even Necas, Lekky, Drouin or Val….they just don't fit with Nate as good as Mikko did. Mikko is slower yes, but he's a big body that can muscle his way through and set up plays for Nate. Nate needs a finisher on his line and Necas while good is not a finisher at the level of Mikko. Mikko is a finisher. The dude is money like Draisaitl when he gets a pass in the open. That's why Mikko can put up 50 goals a year with Nate. Without Nate, Mikko is gonna struggle to put up 40 a year. MacKinnon with Mikko also gets 120+ points easy because 50 of those points will come from Mikko goals. Without Mikko, Mack will be reduced to about 101-110 points per year. No more 120-140 point seasons for him without Mikko. As we witness the playoffs, Rantanen has 2 goals and 6 assists for 8 points in just 6 games….typical Rantanen production as a clutch playoff performer. MacKinnon is also putting up his typical playoff performing numbers too with 6 goals and 4 assists for 10 points in just 6 games….only 4 assist because there's no Rantanen anymore on his line so Mack has to do more goal scoring which is not typical of him to have more goals than assists like Auston Matthews….Mack is not a goal first and assist second type center…he's an assist first, goal second center but without Rantanen it'll be hard for him to rack up assists. Also Rantanen is an amazing playmaker. He's part of the reason why MacKinnon put 51 goals last year with Rantanen on his line. Without Rantanen, he'll only score about 30 goals a year like he did this year at just 32. I'm surprised the brilliant hockey minds didn't even know this. MacKinnon and Rantanen made each other….they are 1+1=3. Without each other, you've just taken apart arguably the best duo in hockey (since McD and Draisaitl don't play on the same line anymore).
