  1. As much as I'd like Mitch Marner, we just don't have the cap space if we want to re-sign the guys we have. Gavrikov and Kuzmenko are great players I personally don't want to lose. Plus Laffy as well, so if we re-sign all 3 of those guys and get Boeser as well that's a perfect outcome in my opinion.

  2. Re-sign our ufa's and go after McDavid next year. If we can't beat them lets at least take their generational talent again. 🤣

  3. I was down on Byfield this season, but I do have hope that he can be a 80 point player constantly. He showed signs of breaking out, and I do think once he is given the responsibility as number one center he will flourish.

  4. Q very well may be the team leader next season, and I do hope so. I’ll be very happy if so. However, he needs the right support.

We’ve seen what Kopi was capable of with usually one solid winger through his career. There’s always been that question of how things would have been if he had a Gaborik and Brown his full career. QB needs that kind of support from the start as a #1C.

    * Disclaimer, I don’t believe that Marner is that piece. He’s far too expensive and nothing indicates that he would be the make or break player

  5. I love Q.
I think he lost his edge after that face smash into the ice by the scumbag Oilers. He played carefully and was afraid of getting hit. . I feel that this loss along with that injury he will be playing with a grudge on his shoulder next season.
    He's got the speed
    He's got the puck control
    He's got the shots!
Q is looking at a huge break out season in 2026.
    GKG!!!

  6. I was high on Q going into this year and I think the biggest step he took this season was on the defensive side of the game. It started coming together in the 2nd half of the year and I do think next year he takes the next step on offense to pull it all together

  7. Marner brings a lot more speed and scoring to the ice than Boeser. Yeah, Boeser is a center, but I don’t think he gets us as close to Edmonton as Marner does. Boeser is too slow for Draisatl/McDavid.

  8. As far as tweaking the roster goes, I believe Ken Holland said that that’s the basics of the job with both trades and free agency. I believe he said that landing a superstar player doesn’t come along very often, so you have to be ready when an opportunity to upgrade your roster becomes available.

If Toronto doesn’t intend to sign Mitch Marner or Marner doesn’t want to re-sign; Toronto is still the only team that can sign Marner to an 8 year contract. So, perhaps a sign and trade opportunity will present itself where the Kings trade a 1st round pick to the Maple Leafs. I would even consider adding Doughty (50% retained).

  9. Boeser would be a great fit in LA! Just getting away from the toxic fanbase and culture in Vancouver he would shine in LA!! Canucks don't even have a practice facility and after seeing that interview Podkolzin did with a Russian sports channel how he was shocked and overwhelmed with the facility and equipment and tools the Oilers had for players health and rehab ,it's obvious the Canucks are lacking big time on so many levels! No wonder so many players have taking that highway out of Vancouver named
    ''Mark Messier Way'' lol.

  10. Marner is a great player, but I'd rather have the Kings spend money more wisely and make sure that Gavrikov is resigned. Kuzmenko is a better puck handler than Boeser, but Boeser definitely has a better shot. It would be great to have both of those guys AND Gavrikov….but I'm definitely asking too much.

I hope your family members are kicking cancer's ass, Eddie.

  11. I dont like his grit and i dont like his decision making. He still makes blind centering passes. He may be a hard worker but you cant outwork those flaws. Im rooting for him because he seems like a good dude and hes definitely a big piece of the team but i dont think hes the #1C on a cup winning team
