  1. Once again, what an incredible season. Thank you all for the love and support on the channel this season, it was a blast. Love you all, so much more to come.

  2. Absolutely crushed after this game. Really ended the worst way possible. I hope we can resign ehlers and bring in a solid 2C to run it back. I really do believe this core could win a cup if run correctly. We need to stop over using players like Appleton and not putting Iafallo up there instead. Hopefully the coaches and chevy can step it up next year

  3. TBH I'm not really upset about last night's loss, what a great memorable season, already looking forward to next year, I'm more focused on Scheifele TBH, RIP Brad.

  4. This was a great season and I'm proud of the guys. In free agency if we do indeed lose Ehlers (which I think we will) I would actually like to see about adding Roslovic again. I know we once had him and that's unlikely but we could afford him as he would fetch $3M. He would add speed that we will need, some goal-scoring and the ability to play center if needed (mind you his face-off circle is not good). I'd also like to potentially see if we could get Anthony Mantha. He is a bit injury prone and would be returning from an ACL injury but he would add some solid depth along with Roslovic. He is a 6'5 guy so he has some size and solid scoring. Maybe just resign Samberg, Vilardi, Barron, and Kupari then let the rest walk or trade all of them (separately of course unless a team wants more than one signing rights) and just trade for 3-6th round picks to get some compensation. Then sign Mantha and Roslovic to $3M deals each. I know it's unlikely but here's the forward lineups I made.

    Connor-Scheifele-Vilardi
    Perfetti-Lambert-Roslovic
    Iafallo-Lowry-Mantha
    Neiderreiter-Namestnikov-Barron

I know it's unlikely but if you want to build this off-season correctly and affordably (this is if there are no trades) this is probably a smart way to do it. Roslovic and Mantha could provide some really solid scoring with a loss of Ehlers. Nino is somewhat regressing so moving him down could benefit well and then adding Lambert will add speed on top of Roslovics speed so then it becomes a pretty solid offence line. Anyways I'm just dreaming about ways to make this off-season bearable. Really proud of this season and all my respects go out to the Scheifele family.

  5. over 55,000 now to the True North Youth Foundation. Thank you hockey people šŸ™‚

    What a season. Incredible. #webelieve

And let's be honest, even if they DID manage to get past Dallas – there's no chance they'd get past Edmonton with JMo being out, and Scheifele going through what he is.

The growth of this team over this playoffs is going to hold them in good stead going forward. Hellebuyck had what I'll call a breakthrough after the loss in game 4. You could see it in his eyes. It wasn't in time for this series, but going forward I hope it sticks.

and not playing Perfetti and Ehlers wasn't great – but, they're small and Ehlers was getting smashed in game 6.

and sure, there's not a lot of NTC's, but most of those aren't players the Jets need.

  6. Jets were never supposed to make the playoffs never mind the presidents cup trophy winners. They will make a few adjustments and crush it next year.

  7. I’m glad they didn’t blow their wad on Brock Nelson, that trade will hurt the Avalanche long term. If Ehlers does go, it’s time for a youth movement, Lambert and Chibrikov need a chance. Fleury needs to be resigned at a decent price because he didn’t look out of place in big moments. Would love to see Appleton sign somewhere else, he’s hard to watch 90% of the time.

  8. It was an incredible season and an absolutely crushing loss in OT. This is a strong team – but they need to find that playoff gear.

It was a very tight series against Dallas – they played great in all three road games, they just had something missing on the total execution of their game.

I believe this team has the tools to make a strong run, hopefully they keep most of them together to have another strong season next year.

    Go Jets Go

  9. I have a feeling that Scheifele is gonna go into the off season and work on himself more.

He's going to be a monster next season.

  10. Crushing loss in OT, still can’t believe it

I would love to see the jets bring up some young talent like, ford, chibrikov, lambert, or someone like Bauer for the defence.

I hope we resign ehlers (cause he is my favourite player) resign fleury cause I think he did pretty good in the playoffs, trade Apple, Stanley and if we have a chance get a number 2C

    Go jets go šŸ’™

  11. Jets played with heart and layed it all out there. A lot to look foward to for we Jets fans moving forward. For now it's time for the team and the Scheifele family to grieve for their loss. Thank you to the entire team for giving us one of the most exciting, entertaining, and record-setting seasons in franchise history.

  12. I'm proud of the Jets. Keep up the good work boys and next year you could own top spot in the NHL. Go Jets Go!! šŸ«”šŸ›«šŸ‡ØšŸ‡¦

  13. Nothing but respect and gratefullness.
Thank you Jets, thank you fans. We will always be a family no matter the circumstances. We should all realize that, game 6 we might have won. But, let's be in their show for a minute. The got the worst news in the morning which affected not inly Scheif but, the whole locker room. And the game was not only on the same day but, hours later. Then they lost 44.
Mehn, I respect them. Again I will say, no one has a blue print of how to grief. They allplayed their best. For me, we achieved more and showed how we are a tight family. I wont complain.
Scheif, may you and your family find solace at this time. I (we) love you always.
As for the cup, Panthers are winning agian!.

  14. I would like to have Elhers too but, I think his health is a factor which maybe the Jets are not willing to take.
For who should have played when and this and that, I will not blame anyone. We (Jet) win or loose as a team. Blame games weakens the team. We take our mistakes and learn from them. Of course the individuals takes responsibility but doesnt have to be public. That is why they have locker rooms "secrets". THANK YOU JETSāœˆļøāœˆļøāœˆļø . We will be back better. Thanks for the trophy.

  15. Losing OT because of a pp is so terrible. Dallas won both series this year from late PPs. I had a feeling we were going to win if we didn’t get that penalty

  16. Jets cemented themselves in Maple Leaf territory as frauds and jokes of the league.

The amount of cope surrounding Winnipeg sports lately is insane.

Bombers are choke artists dropping 3 Grey Cups and likely won't even be competitors this year with the game in Winnipeg.

The Jets are gunna soon be hanging banners for winning a road game.

  17. Spot on. It was a career year and we couldn’t add significantly at TDL. As soon as injury occurred it was desperation time. I felt the Jets season was done when piano a** Rantanen sat on 44’s leg. Need to get ā€œ someoneā€ if Ehlers goes. Trade for Garland, pay for Bennett and or Gavrikov!
