Fuck no, Demko is damaged goods and giving up anything for a guy that is almost guaranteed to miss significant time every year is a no for me. Its Funny that Charlie thinks we need to "see what Sam Ersson is", when he has shown us what he is. He is a backup at best. It's funny they are so interested in waiting Ersson out, but 2 russian guiys that just saw NHL ice for the first time last season and have never been given consistent starts they are convinced are trash with such a small sample size…

I'd only do it for a late 2nd or Fedotov and a 4th. He's in a contract year so there's no long term commitment. They can always flip him at the deadline if needed and he's a vet to pair with Ersson.
Oilers 1st round pick, a 5th round pick, and Tippett for Rossi and Wallstadt. Frees up cap to give Rossi a $9,000,000 bridge deal (2 years, $4,500,000) and to get Suter and Ekblad in free agency(top 4 DEF, Goalie, 2 Centers). Wallstadt is looking like a good goalie and is under control contract wise. IF the front office is looking to trade for an established franchise goalie who is already under contract, it SHOULD be Oettinger.
Fedotov has all the tools to be a solid tender..all he needs is confidence and to be played more consistently..imo. Cant give up on goaltenders too soon as we've mistakenly done before. Then next year play the stable of young tenders in the system. Just my opinion.

I live in Vancouver and watched his downfall in person! He's injured so much and the Canucks basically came out and said he'd never get back to 100% again and injuries will nag him for the rest of his career!
