Tavares haters are delusional. It’s not his fault and there’s no way to replace him. Resign Pacioretty, acquire Kadri and give Phil Kessel a PTO this team will be fine.
Marner goes you have to replace a QB on the PP, a top PK forward, and the guy who feeds Mathews and Knies and Willy on the PP. He is far more important to the team and wears so many hats it will take at least one forward and one puck moving defensemen for the PP and Reilly isn't going to work for that.
I really hope marner walks… that'll teach the laffs to not give no move clauses to every player. I cant imagine having no draft picks to trade and having star players walk. Laff my ass off!
Tavares is getting too old to be a number 2C. If Marner leaves, Matthews' numbers will fall off a cliff. I would not be surprised if the Leafs take a step back and with Ottawa and Detroit getting better, the Leafs could end up fighting for playoff spot.

Tavares has bad karma since he left the islanders.
Marner has bad karma from all the contract negotiations.
Nylander has bad karma from him holding out till the very last minute.
Matthews has bad karma from that terrible mustache.
This is why your team has been cursed.
No and they shouldn’t try because in the end that’s not what it’s about it’s about winning the Stanley Cup. Maybe Toronto should try and get players in there that can actually score in the playoffs and have a track record of playing really well in the playoffs for a change instead of worrying about what they do in the regular season and how many goals they score in the regular season.
Leafs are in bad shape, it will be a miracle if they can be as good as they were this year. No one coming up and their core can’t get it done. They have to change the culture and that’s hard to do short term.
How about saving that cap space for 2027?!
