  1. Canes fan here. I’m proud of this team for playing with a lot of heart. But TBH, I’m tired of saying that at the end of every May…

  2. As a NYR fan, congrats on a successful season advancing to the ECF with the roster you had! I always considered the Canes as Panthers “Light”. Need to get some gritty finishers and better starting goaltending to make the necessary steps to get to the SCF.

  3. Carolina has always been a tough and gritty team with you as their coach. The job continues to be well done by you, coach! It is evident your players respect you as well, very noticeable from the outside looking in.

Also, glad this isn't AI…or so I think.

  4. Literally so proud of this team this season, nobody saw us coming this far and we put up one heck of a fight last night

  5. Lightning fan here. The canes put up one hell of a fight. Burns is a beast. Aho is a fine hockey player. Congrats guys. The panthers are a well oiled machine and are hard to beat. Us lighting fans hate them more than anything

  6. He’s right lots pieces coming and going that being said the heart of this he Canes has been the same and they’re not really living up to standards. Almost Leaf like in away.

  7. Lots of coaches I really like, Maurice, Woodcroft, Sheldon, and yes, even the hard old school no non-sense style of Torts. However watching how Brind'amour plays his team, handles on and off the ice interviews makes me have a huge respect for him as well.

I even took some of my gymnastics coaching styles from these guys. Best wishes moving forward for him, I like him a lot.

  8. No one wants to. Ive been in Massachusetts since 86. I saw 77 get raised in person. I actually have florida jerseys and not one bruins jersey in all this time. All number 10. Bure. Wish em the best but…. you know. This canadas game and we havent seen them since 93. Somethins up

  9. I thought so too, I didn’t pick Canes to go far..I don’t think their depth was better than last year..Florida was able to add good of not better players when they lost some to free agency…Canes went this far because Brind’amour got a good system..Canes will be Champs if they add better pieces
