  1. Brad thinks the defence is set. No it's not. Fortunately we have Stolarz in net, but we don't have a 1 or 2 defenceman. We don't have a seth Jones, werensky, McAvoy, makar, Hughes, heck we don't even have a jake Sanderson…the leafs defence minus Taney and benoit is honestly questionable.

  2. Brad, please sign Mitch. If we lose Mitch, the Leafs will probably miss the playoffs next season, he's too much to replace. Sign Mitch and move Nylander.

  3. Reilly needs to go more than anyone else. Defence needs grit& heart… take weight off the front guys. Nylander can probably do more but so does the rest of his teammates

  4. Brad brought on Scott laughton and Brandon Carlo. While Florida got Marchand and Seth Jones.. please don't re sign Tavares. His contract is whats cause tight cap space. Even if the leafs had plenty of cap room, idk if they have the intelligence to bring in smart physical hockey players.

  5. Lets get it accomplish here already this organization is always letting us loyal fans down this is pathetic 😂 trade Matthews marner tavares get the best of the best for the playoffs so we can see this team win a Stanley cup this organization needs alot more Ownership

  6. like ducks fly together…. When it's windy outside and the branches are swingin. leaves fall together!!

  7. Regardless what happens with Marner, Willy Nylander has to go..!
Can treliving find a way to move that awful contract he gave Willy…? If he can’t, before 2026…then Brad should be shown the door, too.

  8. The core four cannot get it done, it needs to be broken up
And finally the name CORE FOUR will be done

  9. Knies Matthews Domi
    Mcmann Bennet Nylander
    Marchand Tavares Boeser
    Lorentz Laughton Cowan

    Tanev Mccabe
    Rielly Carlo
    OEL Danford/ Benoit

    Stollarz Woll

Thats a team id take with the little room they have for adjustments.

Mcmann and Marchand can be swapped. Would prefer to trade Rielly or test him on LW as a forward. But if we have to keep him thats doable until the trade deadline gives better options.

Love to see Patches back on LW in the 3rd slot so we can move mcmann to the 4th line and put lorentz on RW. But im not sure hes coming back

  10. When it comes to lack of goal scoring in the playoffs, simply put the Leafs have to become the best forechecking team ever like Florida’s early 1st period/entire 2nd period of game 7, where opponents feel like the ice is tilted downhill when the Leafs dump it in and on the boards, before the ice feels tilted upwards when they’re trying to clear it because an actual puck moving D-Man who can skate with the best of em is all over every pass attempt to clear, winning every sideboard pick battle, stripping/bodying anyone trying to skate it out of the zone and tipping toeing the blueline to keep it in their offensive zone with Tanev/Carlo behind them as security and secondary support in winning every sideboard puck battle and tip toeing the blue line to make teams feel like it’s impossible to score because it’s impossible to even clear the puck outta our zone. Really, that’s where Auston’s 6’3 215 size , shot and skill combined with 6’3.5 230 Knies in front of the net. You’re just not going to free Auston in the slots or point or just 1on1 in the playoffs let alone get many chances to be flying through the neutral zone with speed to attack like his Game6 goal where when it does happen you gotta capitalize but it’s few and far between.

The Leafs have to fully build and commit to getting Auston to have his best playoff scoring success and point getting success to lead the team to their best playoff goal-scoring and 200ft play, by adopting the same impossible onslaught forecheck that just wears you down especially in a seven game series. They need to remember the stress Leaf nation felt at the start of Game 7 when Florida would get 10 shots off and when you finally defended and looked to clear the zone somehow Ekblad or jones would keep the puck in or steal a clearing pass to immediately make the Leafs go from trying to finally breakout with speed to back to defending with your life and say we’re going to be the best at doing what Florida’s forecheck did to us in game 7 but even better to everyone with our All-World 200ft and Goal-Scoring Center defending like Barkov while still scoring like peak Nathan MacKinnon, surrounded by an entire roster to do that.

At the end of the 1st Florida got a little sloppy with backline and weakside support while being aggressive on the Laughton breakaway and Nylander opportunity before continuing the onslaught in the 2nd while eliminating those mistakes. That level in the 2nd period is what Toronto needs to study and say we’re going to get our scoring up in the playoffs especially with our stud, by doing exactly what Florida’s forecheck with secondary support and eliminated defensive errors, but better than anyone when we get in the playoffs from here on out. That’s where Knies can dominate in front of the net not when he’s desperately trying to block shots and fail to or barely clear it out of his zone, same for Auston let alone Tavares, let alone Laughton. That’s the only answer after all of this and at this point of where the organization is and where these players are. They gotta get an elite skating Defenceman.

  11. "not a lot of goals, right?" well, jeepers Brad, Florida scored 12 on our home ice in games 5 and 7. Time to flat line another franchise, Brad…Right! "and, and , and.." right, Brad…"we'll see, we'll see" right, Brad! and yes, you are "making excuses" for the lazy, entitled, sloppy Rielly, right, BRAD! stutter, stutter "not to be elusive" right Brad! "Having said that" like I said" you said nothing but stutter, Right BRAD!!!!

  12. not a lot of goals? lol Well in two crucial games one team got 12 of them, and the other two, so not like they're 2-1 wins here. lots of goals but for one team.

  13. craig didnt hold mathews and marner accountable. why didnt he cut there ice time or put them on different lines. this is not accountability

  14. Mitch Marner and John Tavares are the 2 out of the core 4 that have that Canadian heart and desire to win for Toronto. Sign Mitch and JT, and then try move Nylander or Austin, they dont show any heart or desire to win. Seems like they don't really care that they lost.

  15. Tre, needs to add tough, heavy hitters to next Fall's roster, to compliment with his skilled players! Soft teams, do not go deep into the playoffs? 9 years of Playoff failures for the Leafs, should say enough.

  16. I am perplexed, on how the Leafs played a complete GM # 6, and then were a NO SHOW in GM # 7? A winning attitude, managing Playoff pressures, and heart, lacking on the teams current roster. CHANGE imperative, for the 2025 – 2026 season.

  17. Clown show… The first words out his mouth is… "Not alot of goals right?' 26 goals against in a 7 game series. 12 goals against in two back to back home playoff games. "Not alot of goals right!?!" I guess he was right… I couldn't get passed those first words.
