    Ouch! That hurts, throwing your goaltender under the bus like that. Also, is it just me or does Pete talk like he may already know that was his last game coaching this team? Tough to say at an emotional moment like this.

    It's simple. They got past Winnipeg… barely… riding the emotional high of their series win against the Avs. Edmonton killed them because they are not of the calaber of the Oilers and haven't been for awhile. Mabey next year… but probably not. 😂

    Jason Robertson deserves accolades for a stellar performance in this series. The Stars have nothing to be ashamed of. Making it to the Western final in such a competitive league is a huge achievement. There time is coming.

    Dallas didn’t do themselves any favors and I do think many of the players did not step up (Not too mention the enigma goaltender Stuart Skinner who became amazing randomly again. Never understand how he can be the worst starting goaltender, then the best randomly). But games 2 and 3 were stolen by terrible officiating (especially game 3). While the Nurse penalty is arguable, game 3 was some of the worst officiating I have ever seen to the point I question if they were Oilers fans…

    Missing that double minor high stick on Benn, blowing down a play that Dallas scored on for no reason literally stealing a goal, not to mention deciding against calling that delay of game penalty that would have changed those two goals Edmonton got right after….

    Does not mean Stars would have won the series. But man it’s frustrating watching games like that.

    Its time for a rebuild built around hintz, johnston, robo, miro, harley, granny, lindell, miko, steel, bourque, otter, and maybe seguin. Everyone else better be ready for some unpleasant conversations with nil

    Jamie “Has-Benn” definitely needs to go. His age is showing. Hopefully he will retire for the benefit of the team and fans and help transition leadership to the next captain. We need speed. Can’t compete with teams like EDM that have 3 guys 15-20% faster than our fastest. Speed kills. EDM has it. We don’t. We need it. FIX IT !!!!

    Wouldn’t mind seeing coach retire too. He made a ton of coaching errors last night and he’s had 3 WCF losses here. New broom sweeps clean. Get a new coach and get focuses on scoring more and a mentality of getting early big leads.

    Guys, Jake was TERRIBLE this series. He let his team down. Period ..
    At the same time, you cant just put in any old Joe in the goal like DeBoer did. Especislly not after already being down 2. There was no way they were gonna beat a team with McDavid AND Draisaidl with that perennial back-up in net. I personally dont think Jake would have given up 2 of those 3 goals that Desmith ended up allowing after he came in

    I am an oilers fan. You should be proud of yourself and your team Pete. The vast majority of the teams didn’t make it as far as you did. You carry yourself with class and dignity in a tough situation. It’s easy for many to throw stones. They have no idea what happens at ground level. Your team is full of talented and classy players. Dust yourself off and go back at it next year. It’s the oilers moment for now and hopefully into the foreseeable future.

    Benn's interviews are basically pointless. No ill will towards the guy I respect him but when your captain is falling down your lineup that's a problem.
