Minnesota’s been dealing with playoff frustration for a long while now. I do think they can become a Cup contender with the right moves this off-season.

You can also say, teams that face the wild are so worn out and tierd they have nothing left to win the cup
Game 6, nyquist lost us game. Game 5 all 3 goals for vegas, should have been waved off for pick/interference calls. Regular season they call that all day, for some reason, playoff hockey is a different rule book, and the refs hate us.
rossi to LA for fiala and a 2nd or something is probably whats gonna happen
The Wild will NEVER win as long as Liepold owns the team.
Their 4th line had a good playoff. But this team needs a center. Ideally someone like Sam Bennett. I have heard rumors about maybe Brock Nelson. Bill G also said he might want to add a scoring winger so maybe Brock Boesser, Nik Ehlers possibly? But I agree, I don't think they'll keep Rossi. Otherwise they would have played him more than 11 mins per game down on the 4th line in the playoffs.
Sam bennet or mitch marner
Oilers pumped Vegas 😬
Zeev Buium is a huge bonus for this club!
While losing rossi might really hurt, if we get a decent return for him ill go along with it. Either a 1st round pick or top six forward
most if not all the pending UFA's will get replaced with ELC guys, opening more capspace to get scoring help… The Wild are set to make a big cup run the next 1-5 years… Rossi will get traded for a young scoring wing to help secondary scoring…
What Marcus folingo brought to the team this year and durning playoffs really assured his cap for me. Dude works his ass off out there his team.
I think rossi would be a great fit in Montreal. The only issue is that Minnesota is probably going to be looking for roster players.
I think the Wild are gonna go crazy these next 5 years, good young core and a potential lights out goalie in Wallstedt
I agree with your off season moves assessment, spot on. I would like the front office/coaching staff to give younger player a better chance to succeed. Confidence goes a long way and the Wild organization has always been a grizzled veteran first team, I hate this approach. What’s a rookie to think when he sees older guys making the same mistakes? If other teams operated like the Wild then Bedard would be in the minors right now… just my take.
Great job on this.
Honestly, it's real simple. We need a bit more scoring depth, and a center who can win faceoffs. Rossi had a game this year, where he went 1-14, yes ONE faceoff win! I looked it up, and if I remember correctly, that's in the top 3 historically, worst % in a single game. If we can dump him for Guenther, I would be happy. I like Rossi, but how in the hell do you make it to the pros as a canter, and not know how to win at the dot?
Before those dates they lost to the champion Blackhawks in more than one playoff series
2 reasons the Wild lost in the playoffs. 0 production from the 2nd line and horrible play from the 3rd pair defense. Those are 2 aspects that need to be better next year for them to do anything
Brazeau -was an interesting experiment, he reminded me of a lanky teen out there… like he just had another growth spurt – and wasn’t used to his ‘new size’. Felt like he was in the right spot most of the time, just that he wasn’t comfortable with the extra height and length of his body.
If he’s affordable contract – I’d like to see him get another year to try and figures out his new ‘personal space’ – and then figure out how to use that size and length confidently.
Thank u for your videos!
Not one losing season on that board. Super consistent just never dominant. They need a starting goalie and a couple more goal scorers. Defense is ok but could use one more top 4 guy.
The latest news from St. Paul…a proposed naming rights deal with 3M.
The Home of the Minnesota Meek and Mild…
#1 Problem why the Mild don’t win in the Playoffs is a Lack of Grit and Beef, especially on the Blueline.
#2 The “Minnesota Nice” demeanor of the team and coaches overall. Krill the Thrill gets hunted down and hit each and every game and the Mild don’t do much to protect him. The Mild probably won’t have to worry about a huge contract for Krill, I’m sure his agent will search a real team, one that will have his back.
#3 The “State of Hockey” is nothing but a Marketing Slogan for the Mild. If Mild Management truly believed in the slogan there would be more than just 1 Minnesota Born player on the regular roster.
Faber had a big slump I think he put too much pressure on himself all year, Buium should help and maybe some more additions
I don’t think it’s sad, I just believe the wild beat up those teams too much to continue on
Zuccy on lines 1 or 2 is not moving forward to a faster and more dangerous scoring team.
He is slow and an elder player. Wild should put Zuccy on line 3 and keep Rossi as a winger instead of a center as his size is an issue, especially in page playoffs.
At what point is Hynes inability to win in the playoffs a reflection of his ability as a coach?
The Wild are the Minnesota Vikings of the NHL 😂
4:19 not only did nyquist score zero points for us, he was also the one who was offsides because he doesn't know how to drag his leg. Literally was a better golden Knight than wild player during the series, Negative 1 goal he helped us score
A big reason why the Wild's playoff stats were better than their regular season stats is because for almost the entire season, the Wild had to deal with lots of injuries. I'd argue that if they don't get hit with the injury bug they'd finish second in the Central, and would've hosted Dallas or Colorado for the first round instead of traveling to Vegas.
I had Minnesota going the whole way way this year until the, 1-offside goal, and 2- audio technician leaning on a button in OT of game 4 at the worst imaginable time. The Wild deserve to win games.
I just disagree with the premise that the Wild have cap space. The Faber contract kicks in and they need to re-sign KK97. Those 2 items alone will be close to the Parise/Suter freed up cash. I'm thinking they will have about 8M AAV to fill out a 4th line and sign maybe one outsider if they don't just go with a youth movement down the lineup.
Why is Minnesota looking to move Rossi?
Am I missing something?
nyquist is a bum
