Clicker, this was an offensively awesome year for you, frankly. Uh what led to the success you had this year? Really, you haven’t put up this many points since that that first season in Ontario? Yeah, I mean, um you know, just I think like over the last two years just getting to kind of reestablish my identity. I think over the last few years it’s been a lot of up and down, you know, kind of, you know, trying to play a certain way to stay in the NHL. Um, you know, being in a different role when I get up there, playing different minutes, that kind of stuff. Um, but you know over the last two years I guess I’ve just been able to be here for the most part and just like focus on getting better and uh you know I’m getting older every year obviously so um but just still trying to get better and um yeah just kind of you know finding um you know who I am as a player you know after going through a lot of move moving parts being up and down um and then just you know reestablishing my identity and um yeah I mean you know I know that I’m capable of everything that I I did and you know even more you know I have you know goals obviously that I always set out but um yeah it was a fun year obviously there’s we had a great team too you know that plays a huge factor into anyone’s individual success um you know we have a lot of skilled talented forwards a lot of great defense um played with Comey all year you know there’s a familiarity there that um you know we just ride off of each other and you know we got better as you run on together. Um yeah there’s a lot of different factors. What did Karl bring that kind of complimented your game and allowed you to be more offensive? I think he’s a smart player and um you know he moves the puck well. um you know he’s you know he’s young but he’s um you know he’s positionally he’s he’s you know he offensively he thinks um in a way that I think you know helps both of us play and create and um he likes to jump to holes and yeah I don’t know he’s he’s a good player smart player so he was easy to play with the playoffs everything you had hoped for yeah yeah it was fun um it sucks we’re not down in here talking in Charlotte right now. But, um, it was fun. We, you know, like I said, we had a great group of guys that, you know, unbelievable group of guys, great coaching staff. Um, it was a fun team to be a part of. When you look at and and and we had talked off camera before, you you have experience winning at the major junior level, but to be back in the playoffs here at the pro game, how much, like you just said, sucks. We’re not talking about Charlotte right now in the conference finals. How much does experiencing playoffs build hunger for immediately wanting to get back there next year and go one step further? Yeah, absolutely. You know, you always want to um I mean, now that it’s over, you want to look ahead and get excited about, you know, the future, but um yeah, it was a great experience. Uh it’s fun hockey. It’s intense and um you know, that’s why we play to go on a long run at the end of the season. So, um, yeah, definitely, you know, want to get back to that point and go further for sure. Was a long weekend in Lev, uh, as a team. We’re up there for seven days. So, you know, putting closure to this, but, you know, how important was it to to come home and and go back into husband and and dad mode on a full-time basis? Yeah. Yeah. It’s uh it’s a grind um for my wife, so it’s good to be full hands on deck now. And um it’ll be fun to spend a lot of quality time with them throughout the summer. Any little family trips planned? Nothing right now. Couple weddings, but um we’re going to go see our friends in California in I guess. That’s pretty much it for now.
