After starting the season with a groin injury, Shakir Mukhamadullin rounded into form and looked to be one of the Sharks’ core backend pieces before his injury. The Sharks re-signed Mukhamadullin to a one-year deal worth $1 million, hoping that next year, both teams will be looking for a longer contract.
