Hagens or Misa please
I'm going Frondell best all around player
Misa, hands down.
Awesome breakdown. Thanks!
Flyers could fall max to 6th, right?
Frondell is overrated..he's avg at best,
1st pick Defenseman Schaeffer, then take Goalie Ravensberger with second 1st rounder. This would be a potential franchise altering. This would be like when Dallas drafted Hiskanen and Ottenger in 2017. I know the Flyers have Zavargin. However, you can never have enough goalies. Considering they have had 1 good goalie in the last many years. Schaeffer is by far the consensus best player. If the Flyers get 1st overall take the best player regardless of position not orginazational need.
To me it all depends on where they land in the draft 1st then go from there
personally would take Frondell over Hagens.
Franchise? Probably not but a 2C that plays both ways and puts up numbers would be ideal, if I’m wrong I will be happy to admit it.
ok lets start with the idea of trade up, it will not happen, teams that do so are not bottom feeders, it only happen 4 time in the last 25years, yes i agree with your choices depending on where we fall, the real question is IF WE WIN , Misa or Schaefer….i say Misa but wont be mad if DB takes Schaefer. but we should not take McQueen (avoid at all cost )
Porter Martone is a big power forward…Aitcheson is a big nasty defenseman who is being compared to Trouba…
Goaltender, 2 great defencemen, and 2 excellent centres are the essential elements for a Cup contender. Not sure how many of these the Flyers have or are in the pipeline.
I'd like to see them trade up with a willing Utah to 4 and grab their guy. Have some conviction. I personally hope it's Hagens as I have him head and shoulders above Desnoyers and especially Frondell. I'd be happy with Desnoyers. I do not think Frondell is a center. He also has a lot of red flags like conditioning, skating, lack of lower body strength, doesn't drive play. Huge shot so he should still be able to get his ~25 goals from the wing
Everything official I've read has Frondell at 6' even, not 6'2" but who knows
JAKE O'BRIEN. CASE CLOSED! If Misa and Schneider are off the board. IMO.. Hes the 3rd best player in this draft.
Frondell, Desnoyers, Martone, Martin, McQueen, Hagens are all Hit or Miss. MISA, SCHNEIDER, OBREIN ARE CANT LOSE. When drafting in the first two rounds. You want HITS or CANT LOSE, not 50/50'S.
Gotta make the blockbuster move up to #2 for Misa, we have more than enough picks to do it. Would take alot but for him its worth it.
So a projected legit #1 center in Misa to line with MichKov or a S.C. clone plus other what could be players. We have 7 picks in the top 50 if you trade half to get what you think is a sure fire hit. You do it and hope you land on your remaining picks. Realistically if you keep and draft them you prob mis on half those picks or then turn out to be just guys. It's a no brainer to me if you can land a trade for Missa you do it, we got Lucky with MM coming over as early as he did. Looking back if teams knew he would be in the NHL this quick zero chance he is on the board for that pick so take advantage and give him a line mate that can put up big numbers for a good long time if they can stay healthy.
lol. I’ve seen some underwhelming trade offers from the flyers your first bonk a low first round pick no thank you.
