  1. Yzerman has a lifetime contract which you can tell by the way he speaks to the media. He is not on the hot seat. Not even a warm seat.

  2. He's 6 years into acquiring the team, and they're STILL PAYING ABDELKADER THIS YEAR! He's not in any hot seat, lol.

  3. Seravelli thinks Tarasenko is "the cherry on top". That's all you need to read to know he's not serious. Tarasenko is a buyout candidate, not a part of the sundae.

  4. I dunno that I’d say he’s on the hot seat. I DO think there’s pressure for improvement and Playoffs though…especially how much the other teams have improved (Lions, Tigers and Pistons).

  5. Yzerman isn't going anywhere. Chris Illich is the William Clay Ford of hockey. As long as the team is making him money, he doesn't care about anything. His dad is probably spinning in his grave over what's happening.
