BUT YOU GOTTA SCORE, BROTHER! Defense is known for being goo. Penalty Kill is good. You challenged Edmonton last year. Look, come on, you're THE DALLAS STARS that has a better regular season record than Edmonton. You earned getting in the Stanley Cup Playoffs. Edmonton did as little effort as possible and barely made it in….. Why are you guys not scoring? PLAY DALLAS STARS HOCKEY! THATS WHAT YALL ARE GOOD AT THAT WORKS! Edmonton is no better. They're really not or they would have had the regular season record that Washington would've had if they're that great. So, get your guys scoring. The more shots Skinner blocks, the more confidence he gets. Break his confidence and make him nervous. But, Knoblock has Pickard (Pykard) in reserve so the second he gets nervous, he'll put in Pickard when Skinner screws up, so you have to expect that.
Edmonton is no different. It's the same set of guys that choked in the Stanley Cup Finals last year, and if you can't get it together this year, Florida will finish them off, but it's not going to a Game 7 this year, because we as hockey fans just haven't gotten that lucky. Carolina learned how to play Conference Finals hockey so next year, they'll do better knowing how regular season and then playoff hockey is, the Cup is staying in the U.S. no matter what, because Edmonton, it's no confidence, players like Bouchard, Hyman (I don't know how that guy made it through High school), and Perry, NOT humble guys. They're cocky and Bouchard tried took the bully route and tried to mess us your boys foot again with a cheap move Knobloch told him to knock it off. Confident may live on and endure, but cocky breaks. Sometimes, people have bad luck too. Any of their players could have an auto accident on their way to the game. ANYTHING in life can happen to foul up your plans. Anything can happen. JUST PLAY DALLAS HOCKEY. Don't let Drei get in your head. Oetter has him figured out. Small movements in the next and keep those shoulders up (GRIZZLY BEAR) for the high shots.
Like the coach said: Your defense take a knee on those shots and it lessens the open space Oetter can't cover and a smaller gap for Edmonton to shoot through. Your D are gonna have to take a knee and block shots and half the time, the shot deflects off your own guys so be mindful of that.
