run 7 D, Rantanen was getting double shifted earlier and looked like he was having a blast, tell that kid to go nuts while we ease his countryman back into playoff hockey.
Miro is 4 line power forward!
What will Heiskanen look like after missing so much time? Rust? If he goes right back to his A game…..
Things looking good for dfw mavs get 1st pick now miro back possibly
He'll be limited on playing time not 25+ minutes
That quote was about Esa Lindell during the 4 nations tourney
The AAC is gonna go nuts when he's introduced back to the lineup tonight
Miro is THE power play QB. Harley has been incredible but Miro is a monster on the PP.
Mikko is effective because the rest of the team is really good.
The Stars were (undeniably) a top 5 team before he arrived, but we are very glad that he's a fit.
Let's gooooooooooooooo dallas stars
Let's GO DALLAS STARS 🌟 🌟 🌟
4 is better than 55 running the power play
Jamie Benn has done nothing but take terrible penalties, let #4 rake his roster spot. Benn is old and washed up
Very excited to get #4 back. I'm tempering my expectations, tho. He's been out for nearly 4 months. 1st few games will be getting his legs and feel for the game.
Go Stars 🌟
Watch if both Mikko and Wyatt play with the fourth line.
You’re absolutely right about Harley. That guy has been clutch ever since Miro went down, and deserves that spot imo.
I really thought they were going to run 7 d and double shift rantanen and Johnston (they've already been double shifting Miko) but it looks like they've got something else in mind.
Hopefully the stars defense will now know how NOT to get counter-attacked when Bishel and Petro are on the bench.
Those 2 play a conservative defense, but not many goals scored when they are out there.
Really seems the right wingers score the most nowadays!
They're going to be focusing more on Rantanen, which should give more space for everyone else.
This is just ridiculous from Avalanche's perspective. Not only did they lose their superstar, but with 12M he is making the Stars one of the absolute TOP teams players want to play in, since players A) want to play in a contender B) appreciate that there is a superstar playoff performer in the team that is willing to play for A DISCOUNT. And yes, 12M might have been the market price before the playoffs, but now Mikko is a max cap value player. You could pay him the max cap and other players in his team would not mind.
Miro looked pretty good last night. Limited minutes, of course, but he was solid on defense AND picked up an assist. Not a bad return.
How is defense helping? I saw like 100 shots on goal last night. It was ottinger who saved the day
