How does your agent not go “if someone brings up the Islanders, don’t mention Tavares.” Yuh dingus. Also Button moving the top rated American to 8 is the least shocking thing today.
Hagens is a bit under-sized for a center from what I've been reading about him. He's also not really a goal scorer and more of a play maker. I think the Islanders would be better taking a pure goal scorer or a power forward rather than another play maker like we already have in Barzal.
my brother lives on the same block as hagens in happauge. you can hear the pucks in their backyard firing away all day long. pretty cool. i think they have a little concrete rink of some type. woulda been super cool to have him on the islanders and living so close by but oh well. still cool to have one of the top teenage hockey players in the world living down the block. what a life!
