Like it or not, playoff hockey is a different game. Its been that way for the 30+ years I’ve been watching. The Panthers play the best brand of playoff hockey relative to their talent pool the past 25 years. Those early 00’s wings and avs teams, and Crosbys Pens teams were certainly more skilled, but the combination of depth, physicality, timely saves, and mental fortitude is near unmatched
