  1. I expect the finals to be between Florida and Edmonton again: Edmonton had a comparably easy first round, and Dallas/Avs killed each other; Winnipeg wasn't convincing so far

  2. Sens future is bright. We played well for a bunch of mostly young guys, many close chances that had they gone the other way 3 of those games could have been ours. We were no push overs! Both Tkatchuk and Jimmay Stu are gunna be rockin the NHL for years

  3. Winning one game they should've lost in OT, and one game very convincingly is not coming up "just short". The sens 2 game win stretch was so overblown because the leafs have a tendency to choke. Reality is they didn't. The series was close but by no means were the sens "Just Short" of making history.

  4. Exceptionally proud of the ottawa senators. They didnt go down without a fight and 3 games went to OT. Couldve easily been Toronto going home instead.

  5. I found they did not cover there man. I am however excited that they made the playoffs, but let’s not keep losing like the leafs use to lose in the first round every year.

  6. Ottawa has zero future. Their entire Brady bunch core is a bunch of nothing players. It's not like they have any young up-and-coming 19- and 20-year-old superstars. I hope Sens fans enjoyed their 12 days in the playoffs. That's all the playoff hockey they're going to get for the next decade

  7. Nothing wrong, as the better team right now won. Sens have bright future but are still far away. Most playoff series are close and come down to small margins. The danger is thinking you are closer than you think. How many times have the Leafs been close, taking series to game 7’s only to lose while quoting they were even 5v5, and if the breaks just went their way they would have gone through. The fact is they are still years away from the core being in their prime so still plenty of time. Keep in mind people will not all just progress linearly, some will take steps back before they go forward. Still need two top six forwards and a top four d man, right shot and Ullmark has to prove he can play in the playoffs. Don’t quit on them if they don’t make it back next year as their division is very competitive and injuries can play a role. They have the nucleus of a Stanley cup contender but it is likely at least 2 to 3 years away as their core is still 22-25 in age with the exception of a few. Lots to learn and go through but what you can see is their key pieces will perform when it matters most. Now they need to just add some depth to go along with what they already have.

  8. Game 6 would have had a more interesting finish if they had called the blatant slash on Cozens, but it is what it is. Overall it was a successful season. They have 18 million in space next year and Giroux and Greig are the only free agents they should want back. Giroux at 5.5 and Greig at 3.5 sounds about right, and that leaves 9 million for a top 6 forward and maybe a depth dman. Make it happen Staios. They'll also need to decide what to do with Zetterlund. If they keep him they likely need to jettison Amadio

  9. Best thing for the Sens, they should look into undrafted and unsigned Young Talent from College Leagues or other leagues instead of signing Veterans past their primes

  10. Nothing went wrong, a young team in the playoffs for the first time.. for most of the players. Took the Leafs to 3 OT games.. and shut them out in.. Toronto..

I'm proud of the season they had.. and their playoof experience.

  11. Absolutely HUGE SENS fan here and proud of the boys. Living in Victoria now but certainly miss the old days (when I lived in Toronto) and happily made the 4-hour drive to Kanata to watch the guys play. Can’t wait for 2025/2026 and beyond….
    GO SENATORS!!!🇨🇦
