   they are different sports …, fighting has a part in hockey, that is why in a survey of 200 nhl players this past year, 199 said fighting should stay in the game

   hartnell is not a bad fighter, hes not good but hes big and is not bad, he has beaten down on some players several times in his career, malone is not a good fighter either and it would be a pretty even fight, to assume malone would kick his ass is ridiculous

   it is called ice hockey , so your telling me boxing isn't a good sport , or ufc or wrestling? fighting is entertainment , not like their murdering each other , and Americans aren't the only ones who enjoy a hockey fight , Canadians love it as well , most players are Canadian. Fighting is part of the sport and if you were a real fan for 35 years you watched the rough days were brawl happened all the time so don't give me this pussy bull shit.

    Doesn't matter what color Simmonds is, he's a hell of a hockey player and one angry bastard.That is what you want to see in every hockey player. Players didn't say "Oh my God I'm facing Boogaard! He's so white!!!" (RIP btw) Hockey meanness is respected across the entire spectrum, badass doesn't have a color.
