  1. Yes, Dahlin and Byram was a very good D pair. Only because of Dahlin. At the end of the season, Byram was playing with Cliton on the 3rd pair because he couldn't play on a pair with Power, and Dahlin is partner proof. Stop disrespecting Power for fuck sakes. Hes 21/22 with unbelievable offensive talent. he just needs to get his adult strength

  2. He’s not getting traded! Every player names are always out there. The Sabres are under no pressure to move Byram. This is all talk ….

  3. By the time power is around 24 years old he’s gonna be a very similar defenseman to victor hedman maybe not as good but he just needs to get his strength and over this last year he really developed his game on the power play

  4. I think a trade involving Byram and Hughes is possible however not in the way talked about here. Lets say Hughes goes to NJD directly for Kovacevic, Mercer and something else. Then VAN turns around and flips Kovacevic for Byram deal? Kovacevic would be a very good Power RHD partner and he is signed long term.
This would make sense because Hughes wants to go to NJ to play with his brothers. This is known and not a secret. And there were rumors of Byram going to VAN. So why not do a 3 way trade. Where at the end of it Byram goes to VAN, Hughes to NJ and Kovacevic to BUF.

  5. As a Sabres fan ( I use the term fan loosely these days) I could care less if they relocate at this point, we have the bills and bandits that’s good enough

  6. Only in Buffalo do we trade a 23 yr old player, it's unreal how dysfunctional this organization is. All Pegula's fault because he refuses to let anyone tell him how to run this team.

  7. Byram, Norris, and 2025 first for Petersson Hronek … Dobson and Barzal for Byram and Norris, work out the picks?

  8. I saw someone mentioned Byram/goalie for Tippett/Drysdale. Maybe as something to build around. Byram would get the ice time in Philly.

  9. Powers is a big Pusay and thats not gonna change Byram has has basically the same offensive stats and he dont even get on the pp sign him long term. Trade powers for a proven winger. 6’7’ and 5’6” Gionta has ten times the balls.

  10. PIT is an obvious fit for Byram/Power. Either should pass Matt Gryzlyck. And if EK65 is gone soon they'd be the PP1 QB very quickly.

  11. All that talk, and not a single mention of the Jackets. They need a 2 pretty badly, have assets and picks to move, and plenty of cap. He’d be a great fit.
