    Very classy from Paul and Brad. I'm sure the media is going to trash Toronto for losing game 7, but this was a tighter series than most people think. I'm glad to see people going to bat for Toronto because they really didn't play a bad series.

    Pittsburgh won 2 consecutive Cups because they had a 3rd line featuring the soft-as-a-grape Philbert Kessel. Phil loved playing hockey, but 'warrior' or 'defensively reliable' can't be included with his name. However, in the 2016 playoffs with Hagelin & Bonino on the 3rd line, he was almost always facing the 3rd line of the opponent, together with the 3rd D pair. They were dominant. In 2017 with Kunitz & Cullen most often, he was still facing lesser talent in the post-season & Kessel excelled because of those match-ups.

    Florida has Marchand, Lundell & Luostarinen facing 3rd line opposition. They've been the line that's made the biggest impact in their series vs Toronto & Tampa. They are the primary reason they were able to beat Toronto. Period. They will likely be a force against Carolina barring injury, as I feel they are better than Staal, Martinook & Carrier. We'll find out Tuesday.

    Here's a fun stat for everyone. AJ Greer and Johan Gadjovich scores as many goals in this series at Marner, Nylander, Tavares, and Mathews. You can switch AJ Greer with Boqvist and still get the same results. Gadjs 775k AJ 850k. Boqvist 775k. About 542k per goal. Tavares 11 m, Marner 10.9 M, Nylander 11.5 M, Mathews 13.25 M. Total spent for those four guys per goal,15.5M.

    It’s crazy the lack of ego on this team. Multiple stars, superstars, Selke winners/finalists, all-stars, 1st picks, vezinas, future hall of famers, dawgs, etc,
    And they only care about each other and winning.
    It’s bordering on legendary.

    I do appreciate how much they were pumping the Leafs tires. Toronto fans are going to call them bums but they took the defending Stanley cup champs to a game 7. That’s not nothing.

    Shithead Sweeney traded the heart and soul and captain of the Boston Bruins away to the Panthers. His thinking was after the season Brad would go back to Boston. That ship has sailed. Marchy is playing with a great team with a great coach and a great fan base And on his way to possibly winning the Stanley Cup. I say he is enjoying the beaches of Fort Lauderdale and will tell Sweeney to puck off. 🐀🏒🥅🏆
