As an Oilers fan, I gotta admit I was panicking at the start of the playoffs with how big our injury reserve list was, but the whole team as mentioned has a lot of playoffs experience and each game they somehow keep getting better.
On the active players from the last game? Troy Stecher is the only one without a goal in this playoffs which is crazy. The passes are great with less turnovers, the defense everyone is chipping in and doing it all and the offensive chemistry is just amazing to watch. Let's go Oilers!
I was so disappointed for the Oilers when Ekholm went down after the entire year kinda felt like they were stuck in a fog after the game 7 loss, which I can’t imagine how hard it would be to get the motivation to play regular season games again…. I have to admit I was one of the many doubters, and even more so after the way they played in the first two games in LA…. not just because they lost, but the way they played wasn’t inducing confidence…. And now whichever team they face in the finals would be a revenge series against the last two times they were in the finals… Canes ran Roloson in Game 2 and that cost them the cup… they came close going back to carolina for game 7…. and everyone remembers last season… I am so looking forward to seeing Evander engage with Tkatchuk….”hey peon… remember me?” If they had a healthy Kane last cup finals I believe it would have been enough, so hopefully they wax the floor with the panthers this time round

My observation as well.
In less than three weeks, 97 will be hoisting the cup and will bring Stanley back to Canada.
The Oilers are firing on all cylinders.
