  1. Oilers fan here: 34 shots from Dallas, with a lot that could have gone in, and a couple more injured players means the Oilers can't count Dallas out just yet. They are a good team.
    One game at a time.

  2. Why tf would Nurse get disciplined for a routine play. Hintz crosschecked him in the back, so he slashed him. Unfortunate that he got him in a bad spot, but it's not worth disciplining him lmfao

  3. My only positive takeaway from Game 3 as a Stars fan was that Dallas was slamming down the offense more than usual. They were putting the puck on net with tons of high danger chances. Skinner just had our number.

Hopefully going into Game 4, that offensive jolt our guys had in Game 3 finally equals to goals in the back of the net.

But it's playoff Skinner, who the hell knows what he's gonna do

  4. Just becasue the refs missed a call doesnt mean that you can't still play defence.

    They missed a call…..boo hoo.

    Plemty missed on both sides.

  5. Connor brown is now out for the next few games due the shoulder check on his face. He didn't even get a minor for that so dallas fans can shut up.

  6. The officials also wiped a stars goal off the board in the 2nd that would have made it a tie game. Whistle got blown early and skinner did not have the puck frozen. The officials changed what should have been a close game.

  8. Lol, i can`t take you serious anymore.
Dallas got a fake high stick penalty Kapanen vs. Rantanen and got away with 2 majors, Bichsel vs. Nuggent Hopkins is boarding, you can`t shove players from the back in the boards, and the hit on Brown is clearly against the head.
I have no idea about DoPS, because that needs to be a suspension all day long, but they might be drunk in Cancun already.
Oh and there was this INT on Frederic also.

To join Dallas crying while getting away with 2 majors, come on bro, serious?

  9. Nurse back-checked without the puck in a game where the Stars were already done. I’m not taking free hits or that type of bullying from a distraught Stars. Doesn’t mean he’s correct but what’s he supposed to do? NOTHING ?

  10. Well, look like the american team is whinning cause they're experiencing what the Canadian teams go through in the Stanely cup finals

  11. do you really think nurse deserved discipline outside of the 2 minute penalty for that? give me a fucking break man….

  12. Only losers would blame the Stars loss on a missed delay of game. They had 21 shots in the second period. If Hintz plays, hopefully he’s learned that if you cross check someone and poke the bear, you’re might get the lumber.

  13. The last time we had the same Stanley Cup Finals matchup in back-to-back years was 2008 and 2009, both featuring Detroit (which was still a Western Conference team at the time) vs. Pittsburgh. Detroit won the first series in 2008, and had also won the league's last repeat championship about a decade earlier. Pittsburgh won the second series in 2009, and would also win the league's next repeat championship about a decade later.

The last time before that was 1983 and 1984, both featuring Edmonton against the New York Islanders. New York won the first series in 1983, which was the fourth consecutive Stanley Cup for them (no team has won more than two in a row since). The Islanders haven't won any championship since. Edmonton won their first Stanley Cup the next year, which would be the start of a dynasty which won five championships in seven years. No team since has won so many so quickly (the closest is the 1997-2002 Red Wings and 2010-15 Chicago Blackhawks, who each won three championships in six years).

If this year does become a repeat matchup, then Florida will attempt to become the first team to beat the same opponent in back-to-back Stanley Cup Finals since the 1968 and 1969 Montreal Canadiens.

  14. It is about time the refs exercise judgement on delay-of-game penalties. They've been calling them 100% while ignoring the dangerous and far more illegal plays. If they are going to ignore penalties, shooting the puck out of play should be the obvious one to ignore.

  15. It’s ok, the refs made up for the missed call by sending Kapanen to the box for Rantanen high sticking Rantanen.
