what's great about ovechkin is how every goal is an event. the guy plays with a reckless joy that is really the blueprint for a hockey player. it reminds me of lindros in his prime. you'll be watchin a game and ovechkin just comes out of nowhere and levels a guy like a drunk at the end of his rope. the guy is great for hockey. i'd say well-deserved but ovechkin just takes it, grips it and rips it. gretzky is still #1. go flyers.
