  1. You mention how the stars got screwed out of a power play because the puck went out of play, but don’t mention how they got gifted one a little later from an own high stick which also couldn’t be reviewed but should have never been a penalty.. so it definitely evened itself out.. plus the other missed interference calls one against brown another against Fredrick.. they got plenty lucky on the calls… even more so then Edmonton I would say

  2. I’m not sure why we should feel bad for the Stars. I’m sorry, but the Oilers dominated for 40 minutes of game 1 and I don’t think the Stars fans were feeling bad for the Oilers getting 4 straight penalties and Dallas winning it in the third. The Oilers rarely win a game where they’ve been outplayed. They earned some breaks.

  3. I disagree with you on the topic of Dallas’ dominance. Yes, they did spend a lot of time in the Oilers’ zone, but they absolutely did not control play for the majority of the game. Stu did make some absolutely big saves, yes, but Edmonton’s defense is designed to smash Dallas on the backcheck and generate opportunities for transition rush offense. When they weren’t able to take the puck, Stu saved their bacon, especially in the second. That definitely gave the team a boost. Look deeper into the highlights, watch how Edmonton wins puck battles and rebounds in their own zone to transition into explosive rush offense. I think this was an absolutely incredible display of how artful and lethal the Oilers can be, especially on transition. Team defense, timely goaltending, and calculated finishing plays decided this game.

  4. Opportunistic scoring and great goaltending got us the win today. Need some lineup tweaks for next game especially if Brown is out. Henrique needs to be dropped to 4th line or from the lineup. He is a liability right now. Need more speed and grit.

  5. Dallas played their best game and best period of the series in the 2nd period. Skinner kept us in the game and then that laser beam from McDavid daggered the Stars at the end of the 2nd period. Dallas never recovered from that point. Still a lot of series left to play but it's looking good going forward. My only concern is that Draisaitl had some bad passes again and looked a bit off his game out there but the team overall is playing how we need to play. Overall we could clean up the turnovers and try to get to some more loose pucks. Definitely agree on 11-7 if Ekholm comes back.

  6. Man I have to say I'm one of the Skinner haters there's still more hockey to play but I'm eating crow great job stu keep it up and you will have a new fan

  7. Oilers fans were right to be pissed at Stuart in the last series in game # 3 against the Golden Knights. He stunk. Since that game Stuart bounced back in a big way

  8. I trust Knoblauch's judgement, but a the fact that Jeff Skinner hasn't played a home playoff game ever in his career, nevermind in a place like Edmonton, is something I think would get a lot out of him. Whether he's failing to play the system or physical enough, I think that experience will push him to do anything asked of him.

  9. I'm glad Hyman😜, who works like a horse every game, finally got a couple of goals. I expected McDavid to score, but I didn't expect Stu to have such a great game. 😇Let's go Oilers!

  10. The stars can’t play 5 on 5. I was waiting all playoffs for Hyman to show his skills . They outplayed us, but our defence is too good. 6-1 is a painful loss. Oilers in 5

  11. Otter is weak to those high shots, this team is a wagon Austin!
Panthers better look out, we have more skill. We just need to recoil their physicality. And we can

  12. Dude, it's more than likely we are looking at a rematch of last year's SCF. Edmonton has to take it this year, I can't stand Florida. I'm an American just outside Philly and I want 🇨🇦 to win a cup. Go 🛢!

  13. Hasn’t been talked about enough, but since the third period of game 1, deboer has been out coached badly. Knob making amazing adjustments on the fly.

  14. When I say "dismantle" I mean dismantle and oilers crushed Dallas 6-1. Disrespect intended. Lol

  15. Glad to see the Oilers win and defensive play helped Stew Skinner perform well. All four lines need to score moving forward! Go Oilers Go get the Win for game 4

  16. I still worry about our goaltending. If stu gets injured (and they will try) we have no pickard .
