More small forwards for the Habs
The Habs don't need another 5'9" player..pass
Rossi for what ! ? they can make an offer sheet without loosing any assets . They probably offer a couple of draft choices at best and throw in Joshua Roy. No way they would give up a RD for an undersised center.
Old news on the Canucks and EP 40.
Who cares if EP 40 needs a fresh start. He is paid to do a job and he didn’t. If he had a real job he would be fired like most of us.
Canucks need a fresh start from EP40. Sooner the better.
The habs need a BIG 2nd line center, not another little forward like Rossi.

Sabres owner, Terry Pegula, will never bring in a strong executive like Shanahan. He prefers weak GM's exactly like Kevyn Adams.

Pettersson #40 does not look like he wants to play in Vancouver
Kuznetsov was awful his last two years in the NHL. No idea why anyone would take him.

I was surprised to learn Rossi is 5'9" 192lb. Seems like a lot for his height. Definitely makes me feel better about him. We desperately need a real 2nd line. To progress, yes, but for Demidov's development. We can trade for size/grit in the top 6 later.
Petey was picking up steam after the JT trade but got injured and missed the last few crucial games of the season due to injury. This notion that we're fed up with Petey is mostly coming from jaded Miller fans who don't realize he sabotaged any trade value he had by demanding to be traded to New York. Miller is a dog but he's a bitch when things get difficult.
A no from me on Barzal for EP40. EP40 needs a change but Van. will not get equal value. Picks and prospects and Pelech if Van. would go for it.
Not sure why people are riding Shanahans nuts. If he had natural knack for managing he would have gotten into it right away. Instead he got a homey cushy practically Union job with the NHL brass.
Beck is a Habs keeper. Maybe a first round, a second round, Matheson, wifi, and Primeau for Rossi

As a Sabres fan Id love to see Shanahan in Buffalo but I think any one with any credible experience wont want to work for cheap ass Terry Pegula. Pegula is the WORST owner since ex leafs owner Harold Ballard as such the Sabres will NEVER make the playoffs as long as he is the owner.
