Canada vs. Russia | 2005 WJC Gold Medal Game | Extended Highlights
This year is the 20th anniversary of this epic Canadian team.
Canada’s entry at the 2005 World Juniors is considered one of the (if not the outright) best teams ever at the World Juniors. The core of Patrice Bergeron, Ryan Getzlaf, Jeff Carter, Corey Perry, Sidney Crosby, Shea Weber, and others won Canada this tournament and made up massive parts of Canada’s best-on-best domination between 2010 and 2016. The 2005 tournament was Canada’s first gold medal since 1997, and started a run of five consecutive Gold Medals, with Canada winning every tournament between 2005 and 2009.

Hey you should do the GMG from 24’, the CAN vs CZE game 24’, the SWE vs RUS game from 2021, as well as both semis from 2021. You could also do the semis from 2020, and CAN vs USA 2015. Obviously you don’t have to do all of these, these ar just some of my suggestions based on games you’ve already done.

Crazy how 2 decades can pass and this hockey still holds up today. This truly was one of our best teams ever. Makes this years team look like house leaguers.
