I think one of the things that you didn't mention is that McDavid is also penalty killing. He normally doesn't do that, but he has been quite a lot in the playoffs.

Lots of goalies look "elite" until they play Edmonton.
I don't dislike either the Leafs or Toronto, tbh, but that stat is very very interesting. Hyman is only this under-rated because he's on a team with a couple other guys.
