    It's hard to see Dallas loose like this, dominating a good part of the game and missing their 1st center having a broken foot.

    Man! Dallas is toast. They are pushing but really cmon, Oilers will win this series it’s clear if you watch the game without coke bottle glasses. Oilers look like the Globetrotters of hockey team. I have no favourite in this series, both are not my team. This my unbiased conclusion analysis, Oilers will win the cup this year. Of particular interest, the brand of hockey Dallas plays, can not be sustained with additional talents on board. Oilers are tiring their defense and forwards always defending against 3 lines. After one period, you can tell Dallas is much slower as the series progress, it will not be funny to watch anymore. Ratenan is the only one perhaps that will score few more goals. The Oilers are fill with skill and talents beside McDavid and Draisatl, they fixed what was lacking last year, additional big bodies and focus on defense. I truly believe they will become a dynasty playoff team with several more cups that will end up in their cupboards.

    9 goals against 1 in 2 games. Enough said. This series is over. Is it just me, but it seems like many of Dallas players I.e. Benn, and others, are slow and hardly have any impact other than waiting for the puck to get to them not moving their feet. Too slow for today’s NHL to win the cup.

    When you hear a team coach and players making excuses in press conferences, it’s the sign they are toast. Dallas is just whining now. I.e. we miss our injured player, bad bounces, blah blah blah. Oilers will win the next two games and send these guys packing. BTW, some of these prayers are way too slow for the ace of game the Oilers bring. Benn, and others I mean I wouldn’t sign those guys to contracts they look like slow big bodies that can’t skates after one period. Tata Dallas.

    Edmonton did a fine job last year going down 3-0 to Florida and then taking it to 7 and having a shot to win it all but ultimately losing. The Oilers learned their lesson from the panthers last year in that like Dallas last year they had speed, puck movement and shooting capabilities but they did not have size and speed like Florida did, so they ultimately lost. They used their time well and got bigger and faster as a whole so they could have better longevity in a long series if they got back to the cup and especially if they played Florida again, which they will provided this series goes exactly how its playing out now. However, Dallas did not learn from prior experience the way Edmonton did and did not do much to increase their physicality presence for the playoffs. You have to be able to dish out punishment when you have a lead and beat down your opponent and Dallas cannot or will not do that. They have been beat in almost every game on hits this entire playoff. It's a war of attrition, and like Florida is doing to Carolina now, they get a lead and then just pound Carolina until the end of the game. At some point Carolina will or has already given up. Edmonton has learned from experience where Dallas has not. What's the definition of insanity-"doing the same thing over and over again expecting a different result." At some point you have to look at the predominant model of the champion and either assimilate in order to have a chance to win or die as a bride's maid and never a bride.
