Absolutely true. That's what happened last year. Going into that series, I thought the Stars had a decided advantage over the Oilers in the net. But it didn't work out that way. Otter showed a few cracks, Skinner got hot, it basically became a wash and the Oilers' PP/PK did the rest. Very curious to see how the adjustments made by the two teams are going to play out. (and you were spot on about Oiler fans. Some of the most dedicated fans I have ever come across. I had a blast when I went there to watch the Stars play in Edmonton.)

Not feeling this take man. Cale Makar is by far a better goal scoring defenseman over Bouchard and Dallas shut him down. I expect Bouchard to have more chances than Makar did but I don’t expect Dallas to abandon the goal scoring D men.
The way Otter is playing is pretty impressive, but the Oilers just have so much damn scoring. Edmonton is going to the finals. Hopefully, to meet my team for the rematch.

I hope Skinner can stay hot. Jake Oettinger is a fantastic goaltender and can steal games from time to time but the media seems to be pumping his tires a bit too much. He's not as consistent as you might think. The Oilers have lit him up plenty of times and he does have average performances fairly often. Even game 6 vs The Jets, he got beat clean on 2 shots. The Oil do need to fix their special teams if they wanna win this series. They need some PP goals and get a little bit better on the PK

Stars are goats going into slaughter against the Oilers
I am pulling for Dallas, but from the eye test it looks like Edmonton. Being down 0-3 Oilers play their best apparently. I like Dallas overall, but they have a few former Panthers. Marchment, Dadonov, and Petrovic. Maybe more that played no role in FL, but that's the ones I have been following. I kind of feel the Rantanen magic is drained and he was played too much. Hopefully its back and fourth games with exciting hockey. I have seen Skinner be a really good goalie, and swiss cheese goalie the following game. Otter has his off nights too but they seem to be less and less of an occurrence. The speed in this series will be great. Plenty of rush chances on both sides. Both teams swarm to the puck and are aggressive. It has to go to game 7 for Deboar's perfect game 7 trick works and Dallas wins the series. Also a former Panther's head coach.
Oil lose game 1, but win the series in 6. Bouchard, Connor Brown, and Trent Frederic will be the X factors that push the Oil
