As a die-hard Oilers fan, that Nurse penalty was absolutely stupid. There is no place or reason for that, especially when up by so much. It looked like something I would do as a child (when I had extreme anger management issues)
Man, you can totally see how the nhl is making sure it goes seven so they can suck as much money from people as they can. That wasnt the same Dallas stars at all. Edmonton didnt play that sharp either.
Whatnow should be over in 5 games?? Crazy talk I dunno where you get that. "Oilers feel like they can break out for 2 goals at any time" Literally Dallas.
everyone staying dive on hintz has never been touched in the top of the foot……like ever. one of the easiest places to break something. and skate laces don't really protect that area lol
I like how you menftioned that the slash should just be a minor. The dallas coach was ranting on about how "if that was mcdavid, we all know what would've happened." I don't understand what makes a slash a five minute penalty anyways. Is it the intent or just the severity?
I know a lot of people are saying that was a stupid penalty by Nurse, and it kinda is, but… 1) sure looks like Hintz is selling it, as it's a waist down swing, and 2) if it was 2 inches higher (on the shin pad instead of the foot) it probably wouldn't have even been a penalty (other then if he dove)
If that's McDavid or Draisaitl getting hacked down like that and limping off of the ice, you can bet your sweet ass that's a 5 minute Major penalty. 2 minute minor lol, pfft, please try and contain your bias a little bit better than that, Eck.
Dude, how is Nurse's slash not a major and possibly a suspension when he intentionally caused an injury? The refs are wildly inconsistent with the rules, and the same can be said about the Situation Room (i.e. Toronto) after last night. I mean, if Nurse simply flicked his stick back, that's one thing and a clear minor. However, he clearly wound up for the slash, which is with intent and should be a major plus misconduct for causing an injury.
He's giving me Mike Smith vibes. Every shot makes you nervous, he looks sketchy ALWAYS, sometimes He's amazing and others he couldn't stop a beach ball, and there is no in-between.

Skinner looked very awkward in game two, yet the TEAM pulls out a shutout. His luck was incredible and can only carry him for so long.
The Dallas Stars might be the only team where going 3-0 into the 3rd doesn't feel safe but heyyyyy it worked out yesterday.
If you cant explain it, I can…
No afternoon hockey is just stupid. Especially in the playoffs.
Only a team with Mcdavid on it can make the conference with a ECHL goaltender
Top of the foot slash is painful.

Play Labamba Baby

most bipolar goalie
Refs decided game 1 sp don't act suprised
Oilers are that good can’t believe they haven’t won a cup yet
Oilers have absolutely dominated rhe Stars in 5 of 6 periods
Completely agree on the Sunday matinee games. Nice to come out of the stadium at 5 and then go out. I wish the league would do more

"Oilers feel like they can break out for 2 goals at any time"
Literally Dallas.
A lot of things not in the goalies control. Weird bounces of pucks, off his own, or opposition players into the net.
stuart skinner, a gambler's worst nightmare
At this point it looks like both teams are playing to be able to get beat by the Panthers.
okey so dallas can beat mc david with a stick off the series and get 2 minutes for it? seems like no brainer
the oilers woke up.
It's official ECK hates the Panthers
Maybe it was the travel and general fatigue. Not ONE goal? Just awful. Well, not every game can be bedlam!
Skinner is either makes 2 shutout in a row kinda guy or give up 6 goals in one period 😂
Stars in 6
My man skinner is giving me a chance in my playoff pool, may McJesus and skinner carry me to the win

I didn’t think hintz was selling it at all. His reaction to getting hit from nurse was instant. And nurse did slash him pretty hard
Edmonton!
I live in Edmonton and ngl this is a decent year and I’m not a fan of hockey.
Please explain why rule 61.3 doesn't require that slash on Hintz to be a Major penalty.
That Stu save where he spins and blocks it with the stick is actually insane

who here thinks hyman slahing penalty shoulda been a goal.
Nurse, earning that $9.25 million…
Skinner really said “I understand it now” after the last game.
Start Skinner every game and pull him after the first goal.

Oilers have dominated 5 out of 6 periods. Dallas fans acting like they got a chance…
Nuge winning a Conn Smythe after all this time would be so surreal.
Saying they’re going to win in 5 is hilarious
Hintz showing his soccer skills

It feels a bit like the Avs/Stars series. The Avs outplayed them 5 or 6 games. Dallas just seems to find a way.
EDM and FLA are just so much better man
only now i realize its star wars guy
Nurse fucked around is fixin to find out in the next game

I feel like there’s 0 chance that Hintz is actually injured. He will be back game 3.

Oilers in 5 I called it from the bring.
