Alvin's plan was to bring in all the former pens supporting cast minus Crosby Malkin and pretend ep40 and Miller could replace them and Hughes Letang. 0 faith in Alvin for me. They may even bring Bonino back..arghh
I kinda feel there could be a sale… I like the management & the structure of the development; we are working with the tieds finally… as an investment its a winner and with 51 in the wings maybe a False creek push for a triple threat organization with Basketball-ball and Canucks finishing up the False Creek maybe NFL… There the Walters with three franchise… would be a player but for the fact they own the Dodgers the pwhl… Vancouver is an attractive market then… I wore a no name, #13 all year for Johnny hockey and his brother… and as a fan that has a soft spot for those Isle's with BO and the history of 81'… when #13 popped up and they won the lottory I just laughed they needed it but almost like a fishing derby and someone slipped some lead in a fish for the weighin… no All Star game but a pick to possibly screw up and loose at the draft because they waited too long on the clock too make a splash… there I say take the Bird in the hand Schaefer… and then if the Island kid is wanted maybe he gets picked up on waivers; especially if he's drafted by Utah… and with Iginla, another small forward that didnt produce this past season… Weak draft so why chase just take the house money and draft and develope… Get that Bridgeport team in the same league as Abbotsford… so here I compare Van and the Isles… they are stuck in an old boat that wont float with that management… we got a Hughes at #8 so lets hope he's happy… I suggested they get the abbotsford coach (Veselic) from last year and Manny this year for their development….
