The depth on the Panthers is just absolutely ridiculous. You have three lines that can practically score at will and the fourth line isn't too shabby either, all their defensemen have goals and can smother the hell out of just about anybody (especially godmode Forsling and Mikkola), and half of the offense enjoy throwing the bodies around like candy on Halloween. And then you have Officer Bobrovsky. Like, what do you do against this team other than lose? It's a thing of beauty to watch.
As a canes fan this is the worst hockey Iâve ever seen the canes play in the past 8 years. Theyâve completely thrown out their gameplan and what got them here. Now just focusing on big hits and seemingly dirty hits. I get the Panthers know how to do everything illegal legally but weâre just plain dog shit right now.

The 2024/25 Panthers are in their 2012/13 L.A. Kings era. A team that had been just okay for years seems to have sprung new life and can't be contained. If Carolina can conjure up a plan, just to expose a single weakness, this is gonna be a full series. Toronto won their first two, and we know how that went.
