Say what you want, but GOAT Radio called the Miller trade long before Seravalli did. They must have someone inside that's feeding them info. Perhaps Stevie Y wants Hronek back in a trade for Larkin.
It’s a bad idea to trade Hronek. He was so good when Quinn was hurt, so he is our insurance policy in case Quinn gets hurt or (god forbid) is traded.
Just because they’re looking at what might be out there for Hronek doesn’t mean they’re planning to trade him.
I’d be surprised if the Canucks were not looking at what they could get for Hronek, especially with the narratives flying around about the Leafs losing out on not trading Marner before his NTC kicks in. You learn from others’ mistakes, right?
If it’s potentially one step back for the one year on the blue line but they’re able to land a C who can play tough matchups and provide 2C offence while doing so (and who won’t go away in 2-3 seasons), then it could be worth it. But if, say, Boone Jenner and a handful of prospects is the best deal available, then I don’t know.
Anyway, I think it’s the front office doing their due diligence and it’s not worth worrying about until something more comes out.
Hronek would fit Montreal mold , we could get wing we need. Willander and Mancini will be number one or two on D. Team has added Arni Ravinskis . He will start as fourth line winger but he can easy play 3rd line wing. Jashua will move up I think team is bit better.
By adding a one fast wing we could look even better.
Unless we can get Mason Mctavish / Adam Fantilli / Matthew Benier type young centerman, I don't think give up Hronek is a good idea 😅

Frees up 8 mill and our strength is on D, use that cap for a guy like Ehlers, love it
If Detroit really wants Hornek back, please hand out ASP, then they can talk.
Always check with Quinn first. It might still be a good idea to trade him, but if Quinn says that's a hill he'll die on then find another way to afford Ehlers or someone else.
I would do it if he was a part of a package for Noah Dobson with Horvat or Barzal.

Trading are 2nd line centre for a RHD just to shop him for a 2nd line again is CRAZY. Canucks are just a dog chasing its own tail.

If your trading hronek then you need to be getting a star forward back. Whether it's hronek plus or not. Hes a top 2 right shot D with more value now then when we traded for him.
